Alberto Recchi

After graduating in Aerospace Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin, Mr. Recchi started his career at Agusta, presently known as Leonardo Helicopters. In 2001 he left Italy to start his career in the finance industry which spans over a period of 20 years on Wall Street and in the City of London. He spent 12 years at Credit Suisse advising US and European private equity funds on a wide range of transactions including LBOs, recapitalizations, equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions. After leaving Credit Suisse he was a Managing Director at a co-investment platform and cross-border boutique merchant bank based in the US. In 2019 he co-founded Galileo, a SPAC listed on the NYSE which merged with a 3D printing company in 2021. Mr. Recchi holds several private pilot ratings and frequently flies gliders in soaring competitions.

Fabio Nannoni

Fabio Nannoni received his Master`s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 1982. After a brief time as an aerodynamics analyst at Aeritalia (now part of Leonardo`s Aircraft Division), Nannoni joined Gruppo Agusta (as it was then known) as a performance analyst. During his career. he developed more than 50 proprietary codes in the field of helicopter flight science and analysis, which are still actively used in the company`s design process. He has participated, with increasing responsibility, in the management of complex projects in multinational and multicultural environments, like: the A109 Power, the A129 International, the definition of the joint venture platforms such as the EH101 (now AW101) and NH90; the new "AW Family" composed by AW139, AW169 and AW189 and the tiltrotors: the AW609 and the ERICA advanced configuration. Nannoni, in his long career, gave a fundamental contribution to the methodologies and design solutions embedded in the rotorcraft at Leonardo Helicopters (formerly Agusta and then AgustaWestland). In his career, spanning nearly 40 years, all spent in the rotary-wing field, he touched all the disciplines, ranging from preliminary design to the management of Design Organization Approval (DOA) and the Airworthiness of the helicopters in service. As Senior Vice President for Engineering, Nannoni has led, from 2009 to 2019, the company`s engineering directorate through huge technological challenges, fostering an innovative culture and interfacing internal and external Customers and Suppliers. He is one of the architects behind the company`s successful "Family Concept". Since 2019 to 2021 he was named Senior Vice President for Safety System Governance creating the new Company's Safety System in compliance with the new emerging international Rules. In 2021 he was named "Honorary Fellow" by the RAeS, the most prestigious award given by the famous English Aeronautical Society and was selected by American Vertical Flight Society to hold the 41st Nikolsky Lecture: the most important recognition given to peoples that, all along their career, distinguished in the field of rotary wings and technology. Since October 2021 he retired.

Guiseppe Orsi

After graduating in Aeronautical Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan, Orsi started his long and successful career in the Italian aero industry, in 1973 with SIAI Marchetti. After the firm was incorporated in Agusta, he was appointed to hold a series of key management positions of home and international operations, including the joint venture with Bell Helicopters for the BA (then AW) 609 Tilt-rotor program. In 2004 he was appointed CEO of AgustaWestland, and in 2011 he became the CEO and Chairman of Finmeccanica (now Leonardo), the main Italian hi-tech industrial conglomerate.

With a master degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Lucas has always been involved in the aeronautical world, professionally and as a competition glider pilot and VLA pilot. The first light aircraft he designed was built before he graduated at the university. With experience in Pilatus Aircraft and Calidus, he has also worked in several other industries with a common ground, the forefront of technology: Formula 1 and other motorsports, simulation, semiconductors, electronics, medical devices, scientific software, blockchain. Along his career he has been co-founder in several startups and his biggest passion are always the aircraft.

Luis also authors articles for academic journals and other media. He graduated with a BS and PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned a master's degree in business administration from the Brigham Young University, Marriott School of Management. He also holds a BA in Political Science from Waseda University and a Master Finansiell ekonomi from the Handelshögskolan in Stockholm.

Paolo Binetti

With a master degree in aeronautical engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and a PhD in control engineering and robotics from the University of Pisa, Paolo has made things fly since he can remember. First as a radio control modeler, then as a pilot with an advanced aerobatics rating and as an engineer. In his 20 years with aerospace leaders, such as the French Space Agency, and ArianeGroup, he designed the flight control system of one of the first autonomous VTOL UAV, was in charge of functional engineering for IXV autonomous hypersonic vehicle, managed the development of Vega rocket guidance software, helped set up Ariane 6 development and small satellite launch services.

Simone holds a Bachelor degree in electronics from the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), a Certificate in Aviation Safety Management from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles and a DAS in General Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). He lives In Switzerland, in the region of Zurich, with his wife and one daughter.
