MMCG

Established in 1992, MMCG is an independent consulting firm created to respond to environmental mitigation requirements for marine projects. At first, it specialized in marine mammals, but soon expanded to cover other marine wildlife. Increasing regulations and restrictions on offshore projects led to a need for a specialty firm to guide project leaders through the regulatory process and to ensure that their projects could be completed in a cost-effective manner without adverse impacts to marine wildlife. This in turn helped the agencies fulfill their objectives and allayed the concerns of environmental groups and the public about such projects.
