Edwards brings Fortune 50 executive level experience to MEG leadership. Monte spent 15 years in the fast growing Wireless Telecommunications industry primarily in Vice President and General Manager positions with Verizon Wireless (formerly ALLTEL Corporation and GTE Corporation). He lived in 7 states and overseas during his corporate career. After he made the tough decision to leave Verizon to help the evacuees of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita via SRS' newly awarded 9 figure prime disaster recovery contract with FEMA, Monte helped lead SRS to become an Inc. 500 and BE 100s multi-million dollar company delivering high quality projects and services to the Federal Government and Commercial marketplace in multiple states. Edwards attained the Department of Energy Q-level security clearance (equivalent to the Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance) during this time.
