Todd Ahern came to The Megawatt Group as a solar veteran with over a decade experience in the solar industry - and a vision for how to change it. After attaining his MBA from The George Washington University School of Business, he worked at a leading module manufacturer where he closed over 600 deals for 1.3GW and $671M in revenue. Seeing the direction of the industry and the headwinds it faced, Todd swiftly repositioned The Megawatt Group from a competitive local solar distributor to an outsourced sales team for Tier-1 module manufacturers. In his first year as CEO, the team quadrupled its yearly revenue from $13M to $50M. Now in year two, they're on pace to double even that impressive growth with a $100M target for '22. Todd oversees the legal, marketing, procurement, sales and operations departments while staying laser-focused on growing the company one deal and one day at a time.
