MID HUDSON DRAFTING & DESIGN

I have been in the drafting profession since 1988. I have degrees in Drafting and Design, Mechanical Engineering and Communications/Geology. I put myself through college working as a carpenter, building residential houses and manufacturing roof trusses. After graduating as an Engineer I started my career working for a local truss manufacturer designing truss' for houses and commercial buildings. I then started a nine year career as a highway engineer at Orange County DPW where I surveyed highways, drafted maps, inventoried pavement, inspected highway construction, inspected/tested concrete pours for bridge construction, designed and engineered building plans, drafted bridge details as needed and was CAD manager for the office. For the past nine years I have been a Professor and Coordinator of the Drafting and Design program at SUNY Ulster.
