Lakshmi Gupta is a Certified Public Accountant and the founder of Money Equations. Lakshmi is responsible for the overall strategic planning and direction of the company including day-to-day administration and fiscal planning of the firm. Lakshmi founded the company in 2010 after working many years in the accounting and tax field.
Lakshmi works with closely-held businesses and their owners including high net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs. She supports her clients with successful business/tax strategies that make good economic and tax sense.
Her mission is to provide top notch service to her clients while believing in and caring for people she served. Money Equations is her baby and a dream come true! And now she is helping others realize their business dream, by assisting them with their accounting and taxation needs in their business.
A Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, Lakshmi received a bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce, and a Master's degree in Accounting and tax from a well-known University in India. She is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
In 2017, Lakshmi was nominated for the Greater Washington Society of CPAs Industry Community Leader Award at their Women to Watch Awards. She has grown Money Equations to be one of the top 4% professional firms in the USA on Thumbtack.
In her rare free time, she likes to listen to music and loves to spend time with her daughter and son. She also enjoys singing, gardening and photography.
