Marshall Pitz

Marshall Pitz is a Medical Oncologist and the Clinical Scientific Director of the Research Institute of Oncology and Hematology at CancerCare Manitoba. He is the Chief Medical Information Officer at CancerCare Manitoba and is the data lead for our project. Marshall has worked with data experts to lead the development of the integrated data platform. He is also the principal investigator for the CAPTAIN cancer patient navigation demonstration trial.

Paul Komenda

Paul Komenda is a Nephrologist with training and expertise in Health Administration and Economics. He is the Research Director of the Chronic Disease Innovation Centre (CDIC) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has considerable experience designing and leading large observational studies using administrative data. He is the principal investigator for the Home First assisted home dialysis demonstration trial.

Ryan Zarychanski

Ryan Zarychanski is a Hematologist, Critical Care physician and clinician-scientist at the University of Manitoba and CancerCare Manitoba. He has advanced training in Epidemiology and the design and conduct of multi-center randomized trials and observational studies. He is the overall project lead for the MindSet data integration project and the principal investigator for the TRACTION trial, a registry-based RCT evaluating tranexamic acid in major non-cardiac surgery.
