My name is Mitchell Karchemsky. I have a degree in Cognitive Science and Computer Science, focusing in Computational Modelling from UC Berkeley; and a Masters degree in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley. My interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Embedded Systems, Teaching, and Coffee. I served as Research Staff at the Berkeley Institute of Design under Björn Hartmann focusing on HCI topics such as Learning & Expertise Sharing, Interactive Device Design & Fabrication, and Tools for Embedded Systems Previously, I worked at Accenture as a Prinicipal Technical Architect focusing on Innovative Products. I currently work at Traeger as the Lead IoT Engineer... This introductory design course teaches concepts, skills, and methods required to design, prototype, and fabricate physical objects... The Invention Lab is a UC Berkeley makerspace focused on helping students, researchers, and faculty to make embedded systems inventions.
