Dr Adrian Brodsky

Adrian received his medical degree from the University of Melbourne. He trained as a GP in rural Victoria where he obtained his fellowship in 2020. He has completed additional training in Emergency Medicine and Anaesthetics. He continues to practice as a GP Anaesthetist in Gippsland. He has a special interest in cardiovascular disease assessment and prevention and men's health as well as minor surgery. Outside of medicine, Adrian has an interest in hiking and mountaineering.

Dr Evelyn Lewin

Dr Evelyn Lewin is a General Practitioner with a passion for women's health and caring for children. She has significant experience with respiratory illness, with previous experience in specialist GP Respiratory clinics. Evelyn has completed a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and is passionate about providing quality healthcare to all her patients.

Dr Marina McPherson

Marina has been practicing general practice for more than 10 years. She employs a holistic approach to her practice and is very passionate about educating people about their health, inspiring and empowering them to live their best and most optimal life. Marina completed her medical degree at Flinders University in 2005. She has undergone further training in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine with the Australaisian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). She believes that good whole-some food and a balanced lifestyle are the important foundations to good health. Her interests include gut and digestive health, women's health, thyroid and adrenal issues, chronic disease prevention, health optimisation, mental health, stress management, children's health, behavioural concerns and gentle non-punitive parenting guidance. Marina also performs minor surgical procedures such as removal of minor lesions, skin biopsies and laceration repairs.

Dr Susan Abbott

Dr Susan Abbott graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1994 and moved to Melbourne in 2000. She holds interests and experience across all aspects of general practice and having previously been a medical educator also enjoys teaching. Susan has previously been a visiting medical Officer at Masada Early Parenting Unit, from which she has gained significant expertise in maternal mental health and looking after infants under two years of age. She is passionate about seeing patients in all ages and stages, is affiliated with Monash Health for shared antenatal care, and loves that General Practice provides patients ranging from paediatrics through to aged care. Outside of medicine Dr Abbott is a keen Sydney Swans supporter and enjoys reading and exercising at the gym.

Dr. Angela Dougall

Dr. Angela Dougall is a highly qualified medical practitioner with a diverse educational background. Angela completed her medical degree in Sydney before moving to Ballarat to gain experience in regional medicine and subsequently achieved GP Fellowship in 2019. Committed to staying abreast of the latest medical advancements, Angela also holds a Diploma of Child Health from The Children's Hospital at The University of Sydney, a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dedicated and passionate about the future of Primary Healthcare, Angela also enjoys teaching medical students at Monash University. Beyond her professional achievements, Angela finds joy in travel, visiting friends and family overseas. Outside of her medical pursuits, she maintains a balanced life, engaging in activities such as playing soccer and cherishing moments with her husband and young daughter.

Mrs Yvonne Gadsden

Yvonne joined Mackie Road Clinic in January 2015 having already worked for over 15 years as a Practice Nurse. Yvonne trained and worked in the Public Hospital System and also trained as a Midwife. Yvonne has worked in Medical Research, worked for The Royal District Nursing Service and in Aged Care. She has a special interest in wound management, Child and Adult Immunisations and Travel Health. Yvonne is an accredited nurse immuniser."

Ms Deanne Goldsmith

Ms Deanne Goldsmith (BHlthSci, MPodPrac) holds a Masters in Podiatric Practice and has extensive experience within the health industry. Deanne provides a variety of Podiatric services including general treatment, foot pain, biomechanical & footwear assessments, and diabetic foot assessments.

Ms Marie Hunt

Marie Hunt is the Aged Care Nurse at Mackie Road and is approaching her 10th year with us. She visits our elderly patients over 75 years old at their homes to perform Aged Health Assessments. She is a registered nurse who specialises in treating ageing population and the chronic illnesses associated with ageing..

Swee Ling

Job Titles:
  • Registered Nurse
Swee, a registered nurse, has come to the Mackie Road team from a background in community nursing, having supported aged persons in the community to stay at home as long as possible. She also has experience working within an Aged Care environment as well as alongside children with disabilities. Swee is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. She has a particular interest in wound care and diabetes management.

Tammy Bush

Originally from Canada, Tammy completed her studies here in Australia. She had over a decade of General Practice experience prior to joining the Mackie Road Clinic team. Tammy has a particular interest in wound closure and management, Care Plans and Care Co-ordination. In her spare time, Tammy loves to travel, read and cook. In fact, the Mackie Road Clinic team are regularly lucky recipients of baked goods from her kitchen!
