Barnsley Healthcare Federation is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company which aims to improve and enhance the way in which primary care at scale is delivered within Barnsley, South Yorkshire... Our aim is to provide the best care to patients, represent the interests of our GPs and work with partners across the borough and nationally to help address some of the challenges facing the NHS today. We are proud of our dedicated team who deliver healthcare directly to patients or are working hard in the background to keep our essential services running smoothly... We manage the Barnsley Primary Care Network (PCN), which is made up of 32 GP practices, and run the iHEART Barnsley out of hours GP service. We also deliver a number of community healthcare services, such as health and wellbeing coaching, social prescribing and first contact physiotherapy, and directly manage BHF GP practices.
