Dr. Denisa Riera

Dr. Riera was born in Albania and moved to CT during her high school years. As a result, she is fluent in both English and Albanian and is proficient in Spanish. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and completed her Honors Research thesis at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. After working on research for several years at Columbia University, NY she attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she earned her Doctorate degree. Dr. Riera completed a three-year residency program in foot and ankle surgery at St. Josephs Medical Center in Yonkers, NY where she served as chief resident. During her training, she received a solid and comprehensive educational foundation in all aspects of podiatric medicine from limb salvage to reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Currently, she is affiliated with St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, St. Vincent's Wound Care Center in Trumbull, Surgery Center of Fairfield County and holds a teaching position at the Podiatry residency program at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers NY Dr. Riera is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is an active member of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association and Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Riera is a compassionate physician that takes the time necessary to explain your disorder and address your individual needs in establishing the appropriate treatment.

Dr. R. Daniel Davis

Dr. Davis has been in practice for over 30 years. Dr. Davis attended Bucknell University where he earned his B.S. in Biology and was a star athlete as part of the track team. He continued his education at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM), formerly the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 1980. While at TUSPM Dr. Davis completed and finished the Penn relays marathon. He completed his residency at Parkview Hospital, where he was the chief resident. Dr. Davis is board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® and board Certified by American Board of Podiatric Medicine. In 2017 Dr. Davis was awarded a Honorary Degree by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is a also a fellow of the American college of foot and ankle surgeons and the American podiatric sports medicine association. Dr. Davis is certified in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen care by the National Wound Healing Association. Dr. Davis is also very active in the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA). He was a CPMA past president, chairman of the education committee and plays a key role in the organization of the annual scientific meeting. In addition, Dr. Davis is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is the Connecticut delegate to the national convention and a member of the APMA Board of Trustees. Dr. Davis is extremely active in his community soccer and little league association. He is a certified soccer and basketball coach and referee. In addition, Dr. Davis is the Bucknell University Sports Medicine podiatric Physician and has several speaking engagements at Bucknell University. Dr. Davis his wife Mary Anne are the proud parents of three boys and one daughter
