Amy is one of the dental hygienists at Neumann Family Dentistry. She loves building relationships with patients and helping them better understand how to maintain their dental health. If you have dental anxiety, she definitely understands your concern - she's been in the seat herself while having various procedures, including a bone biopsy! When she's not tending your teeth, Amy's spending time outdoors with her daughters, Hailey and Lily, or relaxing with her dog, Blue, and her cat, Milo.
Anne Marie is one of our dental assistants, always ready to stand by the side of her patients. She loves everything about her job and does everything she can to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Outside of the office, she's swimming, at the beach, reading, or doing things with her husband, Steve, their children, Matthew and Sarah, and the family dog and cat.
Debbie is a dental assistant at Neumann Family Dentistry and has been with the practice since 1984. What Debbie enjoys most is working with and talking to all of her patients. She has two sons, a grandson, a granddaughter, and her rescue dog, Jasmine, that she could not be put more proud of. She has her Associates degree in agriculture business and in her spare time she enjoys working with plants and animals of all kinds. She also enjoys movies, hiking, reading and crafting.
Donnell has been a Dental Assistant for over 23 years. She loves helping create beautiful smiles for all ages.
She is highly experienced with dental and orthodontic chairside assisting, along with performing extensive lab duties.
Donnell is originally from Warren County, Virginia. After graduating from VCU she and her husband became lifelong residence of Frederick County, Virginia.
Donnell feels that the working in the dental field has allowed her to care for patients at all stage of their lives.
When not working, Donnell enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to visit the beach at least once a year.
Dr. Neumann began his professional career with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Virginia. However, after experiencing a dental emergency of own he realized just how much a career in dentistry would allow him to help people. He shifted gears, pursuing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia. After 40 years in private practice, he thoroughly enjoys serving his Winchester community and has no intention of retiring.
Dr. Neumann is an experienced leader in dental implants, sedation dentistry, Pinhole™ Surgery and many other modern dental techniques. He believes that the key to delivering exceptional results for his patients is getting the best education available. Not only has he (and the staff) racked up hundreds of hours of training, he's been putting his extra time to good use keeping up with the latest in dental technology. He currently maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automated External Defibrillators, as well as in:

His dedication to medical advancements shows not only in the significant number of continuing education hours he's amassed, but also in the wide variety of programs he's invested his time in. Learning from many different perspectives can provide a dentist with numerous ways of looking at a problem - it helps our patients every day.
Aside from his ACLS, CPR, and AED certifications, Dr. Neumann has earned many continuing education credit hours from programs through institutions like the Dawson Academy, the Pankey Institute, Professional Education Society, Pikos Institute, and the Chao Pinhole(™) Academy.

Dr. Travis Bohrer has over 18 years of dental experience in the general practice setting and enjoys treating patients of all ages. Family dentistry gives him the satisfaction of helping people have a healthy, beautiful smile and allows him to get to know his patients on a personal level.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Shepherd University (graduating Magna Cum Laude) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 2002 with honors. He was recognized as a National Dental Hinman Scholar in 2002 and completed a post-doctoral training program at the prestigious Nash Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry which has allowed him to apply some of the best techniques in cosmetic dentistry available today. He is also Invisalign certified and a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Bohrer is a native of the town of Paw Paw in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. He currently lives in the Strasburg, VA area with his wife, two step-sons, and many animals (horses, goats, cats, and dogs) that are all a part of their loving family.When away from the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for his many animals, playing golf, hunting with friends, and following horse racing.
Melissa is a dental hygienist here at Neumann Family Dentistry with over 16 years of experience. Her focus is on providing high quality dental care to her patients and educating them on the importance of good oral health. Melissa takes pride in making her patients feel comfortable and safe, and looks forward to meeting you and your family!
Melissa grew up in a small town outside of Johnstown, PA and has resided in the Winchester area since 2000. She enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Chad, son Bryson and their two dogs. She also enjoys baking and anything to do with crafting.
Patty moved to Winchester, VA from South Philly in 1981 and is a John Handley High School Alumni.
As the office manager Patty ensures that Neumann Family Dentistry runs smoothly for our patients and feels that her most important role is making sure that patients feel like family. She has been with the practice for decades, watching families grow and blossom and supporting them during both the good and the tough times. She works hard to make sure every patient gets the treatment they need.

Dental hygienist Sonya is the first to admit that she's truly a people person. She loves educating patients who may be new to dental care or who haven't been in the office in a while. No shame, she just wants to catch you up on the latest in dental care. Her best advice for dental anxiety is to imagine you're in your happy place and to take some deep breaths until your fear passes.
Tanya is a a dental assistant with Neumann Family Dentistry. She has over 25 years of dental experience and enjoys making all of her patients feel at home and a part of the family. Patient comfort and care is her top priority. Tanya is a native of our area and a hometown girl. She's been married to her husband Jeff for 24 years. Tanya has three children, one grandson and three cats. All of her spare time is spent with her family.
Terry is the Office Administrator at Neumann Family Dentistry, and she loves welcoming you to the practice. She's happy to be one of the first faces you see when you come in and does everything she can to help you feel comfortable from the moment the door opens. When she's not at work, she's gardening, shopping, hanging out at the beach or spending time with her grandson, Logan.
