Brad LaPorte, a Partner at High Tide Advisors, was previously a top-rated Gartner analyst who extensively covered endpoint security and threat intelligence. In addition, he served as a military officer overseeing US Cyber Intelligence for the country and allied nations, was the Chief Evangelist at Kasada, as well as a product leader at Dell, IBM and Acquia. Brad is a seasoned C-level executive with two decades of combined deep technical cybersecurity, product management and extensive go-to-market experience. Brad has spent most of his career on the frontlines fighting cyber criminals and advising top CEOs, CISOs, CIOs, CxOs as well as other thought leaders on how to be as efficient and effective as possible.
Bret Hartman, a Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University (CalPoly), was previously CTO for the Security Business Group of Cisco. In addition, he served as CTO for RSA, and as CTO of the Security Division of EMC, among other technical security leadership roles. Bret is a seasoned C-level executive with decades of combined deep technical cybersecurity, product management and go-to-market experience.
A computer science graduate of both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Maryland, Bret works with the OnSystem Logic team to bring OnSystem Defender to enterprises and organizations of all types, and to software developers everywhere, while lending his technical and industry knowledge to the continuing development of our solutions.

Jim is a technology executive with 40 years of experience in banking, investment management and brokerage. He has served on senior leadership teams as EVP and Chief Technology Officer at WSFS Bank, Chief Technology Officer for T. Rowe Price and Divisional Chief Information Officer at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He also worked on large-scale international projects and merger and acquisition teams at Capital One Financial and Goldman Sachs.
Jim graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Management of Technology from Polytechnic Institute of New York University. He has written articles on technology topics in multiple publications and was recognized in 2007 by Information Week as a top 10 Innovator for his work at T. Rowe Price.
Rob is very familiar with the startup world. He has held leadership positions in over a half dozen startups, with many successful exits; and he has accumulated vast enterprise sales and business development experience with a consistent track record of entering new markets, building teams, and growing revenues in the Financial, Retail, Insurance, and Healthcare industries. His passion is to build innovative product offerings that have an impact on our daily lives while cultivating relationships within impacted industries.
Rob holds a BS in Finance from Miami University and lives in the San Francisco Bay area. When not working he can be found hanging out with his family, enjoying a game of tennis, tending the BBQ or playing bartender.
