Winnie Chang is the Founder and Managing Director of OrionW LLC. Based in Singapore, Winnie leads a regional TMT and FinTech practice focusing on key markets throughout Asia. She has represented leading multinational companies based in Asia, Europe and the U.S. on a wide range of cutting-edge TMT and FinTech transactional and regulatory projects, general corporate and commercial transactions, IP, data protection, cybersecurity and export regulatory compliance projects. Winnie has 20 years of experience in the TMT and FinTech practice areas in Singapore and the United Kingdom. She was awarded the 2014 Finance Monthly Global Award for "TMT Lawyer of the Year" in Singapore. She has also been recognised by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2019 edition as "a practical, commercial advisor with excellent knowledge of the law", and by the 2017 edition as having "excellent industry knowledge". Asialaw Profiles 2018 recommends Winnie as a "comprehensive, detail-oriented and customer-oriented" lawyer. Winnie regularly speaks at major conferences and workshops on TMT, FinTech and data protection regulatory issues. Winnie is qualified to practise law in Singapore, England & Wales, and Malaysia.
