PUR PATIO - Key Persons
A modern deck built of Ipe in Montreal's Bois-Franc district in the borough of Saint-Laurent. Our clients wished to replace the treated wood patio included with the house. The terrace design is a joint effort between Louis Philippe and the owner. The straightforward modern structure is supported by screw piles, guaranteed for life against frost-related heaving. A low platform, entirely clad in Ipe wood, acts as a dining venue. The higher part of the deck, adjoining the kitchen, is reserved for barbecuing and lounging. An Ipe screen protects the users' intimacy. Space under the deck was converted into storage, much like a garden shed and weatherproofed with Rain Escape membrane from Trex. A stunning patio built of Ipe, solid and timeless.
