Alex is also involved in the company's project controls, developing several SOP's to be used across the company in various aspects of work. While not at Penobscot General Contractors, Alex and his wife live in North Carolina. They enjoy spending time with family, playing golf, various outdoor activities, attending football games, reading, and playing with their new puppy Darcy.

Read More Dale Daggett joined Penobscot General Contractors in August of 2023 (in lieu of retirement) with a 52- year work history; 49 of those years in the concrete construction industry. He is the epitome of the Maine work ethic and has extensive experience in project estimating, project bidding, coordination, procurement and relationship developing. A Maine native, Dale grew up in the Abbot /Dover Foxcroft area. During high school he always worked 2 to 3 jobs. After graduation from high school, he worked for a funeral home who also made burial vaults. He manufactured burial vaults, delivered them throughout the state and assisted in the funeral home. Throughout his subsequent years, he renovated and flipped multiple homes, and spent his weekends doing landscaping projects for friends. In 1974, he started his career with American Concrete, a precast concrete company. He loyally worked for the company for 28 years. Starting as a truck driver and working in the production plant, he worked his way up in the company and moved to sales and dispatching. He then moved to Gagne Precast where he worked for 4 years developing customer relations and refining his public relation skills. In 2008, Dale was hired by N.S. Giles as the Senior Estimator where he worked for 14 1/2 years. While at N.S. Giles, Dale was responsible for submitting estimates and bids for major concrete construction projects, coordinating, and procuring inventory for the jobs, contract review and billing. He developed industry wide contacts which he maintains to this day. Dale formerly sat on the Board of Directors for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Northeast Precast Concrete Association. He is an active participant and an avid supporter of ABC and Associated General Contractors (AGC). With a lifetime in the construction industry, five decades of "boots on the ground" experience and a penchant for working 12-14-hour days, Dale brings to Penobscot General Contractors, proven practical experience, expertise, and many well established, valuable relationships throughout the country. Dale lives in Hampden, Maine with his partner, Suzanne, where he spends his free time landscaping, gardening, entertaining a two-year-old step-grandson and looking forward to the next "white sand beach" vacation.

Kyle worked for many Maine summers in historic home renovation and carpentry, and continues to refine his skills with many home projects. Kyle graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Architecture, and immediately moved to Washington, DC to start his career as a superintendent. He was a part of a half dozen different high-rise, mixed-use buildings comprising over $530 million, 1500 units, and 65,000sf amenity spaces, and was able to quickly assume project leadership roles on these sites. After several years in the Washington area, Kyle was ready to bring his skill set back home to Maine and joined the Penobscot team in summer 2022. Kyle values the collaboration between his site team members and fostering relationships with subcontractors and their employees. He also brings to the table a knack for strategizing and coordinating project timelines, drawings, and other necessary project details Kyle lives in Falmouth, Maine with his wife, 3 year old son, and is expecting another boy in March 2023. He began his career before graduating from high school with his certificate in carpentry. After working in the residential sector for 10+ years Wayne found his passion working on large commercial projects. First as a laborer, then a foreman , until working his way up the ranks to superintendent. His projects include overseeing the construction of buildings on several UMaine campuses, both the Portland and Bangor civic center remodels, the district court building in Lewiston and the construction of the helipad at Maine Med in Portland. Wayne takes pride in his ability to problem solve on the spot and complete his projects within and often before the allotted timeframe. When Wayne is not working, he and his wife enjoy traveling, motorcycling,camping and spending time on the water during the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. They also enjoy spending as much time as possible with their granddaughter.
