Adjoba Kyiamah

Adjoba has spent over seventeen years of her career in senior corporate management roles in the fast moving consumer goods manufacturing industry and media management where she developed an excellent track record of providing best practice legal and stakeholder engagement advice and support to both Management and Board. Ten of those years involved practical legal experience as a corporate in-house counsel. In addition to successfully minimizing legal risk Adjoba has extensive experience in corporate reputation management, managing corporate compliance, executing corporate transactions, Human Resource management, procurement and managing key stakeholder engagements. Adjoba Kyiamah is currently the executive director at the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce. She was previously a Senior Associate at SESI LEGAL, Legal Consultants, Arbitrators & Notaries Public. Prior to that, until the end of December 2017, she was the Legal & Corporate Affairs Director for Accra Brewery Limited, the Ghana subsidiary of ABInbev, the world's largest beer company. Adjoba holds a Bachelors Degree in Geography with English from the University of Ghana, Legon; a Masters Degree in Urban planning and Development from the University of Manchester, UK; and a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of Law.

Chris Hammond

Chris Hammond is the Deputy Managing Director of Petra Trust. He joined Petra Trust from Aerocontractors Company of Nigeria ("ACN") where he served as Chief Finance Officer. In his position as CFO, Chris oversaw ACN's Finance, Purchasing and Information and Computer Technology teams and was central to the company's strategy and business development. Prior to joining ACN, Chris headed the Telecommunications, Media and Technology coverage practice within Oceanic Capital Company Ltd's Investment Banking Group. He was responsible for the origination and structuring of financing transactions in his stated sectors as well as for the Aviation sector. Chris joined Oceanic Capital, from Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC in New York where he worked as an investment banker in the company's Financial Sponsors Group. In his role at Credit Suisse, Chris focused on providing advisory and execution services to clients, primarily private equity clients, in leveraged buyouts, sell-side and IPO transactions across various industries. Prior to Credit Suisse, Chris worked in the energy sector with Mirant Corporation in a risk management capacity and as a consultant with Cap Gemini. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Highest Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university. He also holds an MBA from The Sloan School Management of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kofi D. Fynn - CEO

Kofi D. Fynn is the Chief Executive Officer of Petra, a leading diversified financial services institution in Ghana with activities in pension trusteeship, personal financial planning, securities brokerage and fund administration. He is also a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Achieve, a fintech business that aims to conveniently provide quality financial services to every African. In addition to his executive roles, Kofi serves as the Board Chairman of Goldkey Properties, a real estate development company in Ghana. Kofi has more than 25 years of experience in the investing and asset management space. Prior to his current role he was the Chief Operating Officer for Asset Management at Oceanic Capital, a Lagos-based investment bank. He joined Oceanic from Wellington Management Company in Boston, where he was a global fixed income portfolio manager. He started his investing career at Blackrock. Kofi holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Before joining Wellington Management Kofi worked at Blackrock Financial Management, a global asset management firm with over $3.6 trillion under management, At Blackrock he led the team responsible for the management of risk in all of the firm's leveraged vehicles. Kofi earned both bachelors and a master's degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Kofi Kwakwa

Kofi Kwakwa is an investment professional with significant experience in private equity investment management, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, and general corporate leadership. He is a partner with African Capital Alliance, a pioneering West African private equity investment firm, with over $1bn under management. In that capacity, he is one of 5 partners overseeing investments in West Africa across a broad range of sectors including TMT, Energy, Financial Services, FMCG, and Industrials. He is also the Founder of Sagevest Holdings, a venture capital investment holding company, focused on investing in and developing projects in Agribusiness and Industrial Processing in Ghana. Mr. Kwakwa started his career as a management consultant with Deloitte & Touche Consulting, working with the firm in the USA and West Africa. He was one of the Firm's leaders in establishing a vibrant management consulting practice in West Africa, developing and executing significant mandates in Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire and Nigeria. He subsequently joined McKinsey & Company, where he played a pioneering role in establishing the Firm's practice in South Africa, after having joined in the North American practice. While at McKinsey, he led substantive engagements to develop and execute growth and restructuring strategies of major corporates across Africa. Mr. Kwakwa also worked with the Standard Bank Group, then the largest banking group in Africa, where he was one of the leaders of the Group's Strategic Investments business unit, focused on making private equity investments in non-bank financial institutions across emerging markets. Mr. Kwakwa attended Achimota Secondary School, completing his A-Levels in 1986. He graduated from Swarthmore College (USA) in 1990, with a Bachelors' Degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Public Policy. He subsequently graduated from the Harvard Business School in 1994 with an MBA in General Management. He is a Director Emeritus and past Chairman of Ashesi University, and currently serves as the Chairman of Ghana International School. He was a World Economic Forum Global Leader for Tomorrow and is a Founding Member of the Ghana Chapter of Young President's Organisation (YPO). Mr. Kwakwa is resident in Ghana and married with three children.
