REIDELL FARMS

At Reidell Farms, we teach lessons in horsemanship, with a focus on safety, confidence, and understanding of both horse and rider... Now run by Bill Jr. and his wife Rose, along with their daughter Ammie and son BJ, Reidell Farms has produced cash crops of corn, soy beans, and hay (alfalfa, timothy, and broam) for use for the animals on the farm: horses, cows, and occasionally, sheep. The cattle raised at Reidell is now predominantly Main Anjou beef cattle... Teaching and training using the horsemanship method, Reidell believes that there is a better way to train horses without confrontation. Horsemanship teaches that listening to the horse and paying attention to their body language is the best form of communicating and establishing a relationship with the horse instead of just ‘breaking' them.
