David J. Rudnick - SVP

David Rudnick has over 20 years of investor relations and investment banking experience, both in the healthcare field and as a generalist, working with a wide array of US, European and Asian companies. He has tailored strategic plans to raise the profiles of client companies across the capital markets spectrum using the language of Wall Street to convey the drivers of valuation to the investment community. He has advised on capital markets strategies to optimize market value that incorporate best practices procedures. Prior to joining Rx Communications, David was a senior securities analyst at Morgan Stanley on their #1-ranked research team and advised on portfolio optimization for the firm's buy side institutional investors. He was also selected to work with the firm's senior officers on strategic planning projects. Previous to that, David was a convertibles analyst at Salomon Brothers where he authored a macroeconomic report on healthcare equity securities. Prior to joining Salomon Brothers, David was an investment banker at Prudential Securities where specialized in healthcare and then developed new products off of the equity capital markets desk. David began his career at Butcher and Singer where he worked in healthcare investment banking and executed IPO's, private placements, M&A transactions, fairness opinions and real estate MLP's. David has a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Donna K. Ramer

Edna Kaplan

Edna Kaplan has over 25 years of experience in healthcare/life sciences public relations and clinical relations and has worked with numerous established and emerging healthcare and biotech companies, as well as organizations such as Harvard School of Public Health. Throughout her career, Edna has also worked on accounts in healthcare, technology, and education at agencies including Nicolazzo & Associates, Tom Davis & Co., and at euroPResence USA, where she was CEO of the European firm's US office. She has won the top industry awards, including the Public Relations Society of America's top international honors, the Silver Anvil and the PRSA Silver Anvil Award of Excellence, for strategic work and extraordinary results. Prior to entering the PR field Edna worked at New York University Medical School's pharmacology department. As a Research Associate at Downstate Medical Center's psychopharmacology department, she was part of a unit that conducted and published double-blind clinical trials. At American Institutes for Research, she planned and executed various Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research projects and health campaigns. Edna holds an MS degree from Boston University's College of Communications and a BA from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. Her pro bono activities have included advising the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and serving as public relations consultant to the Late Onset Tay-Sachs Foundation. She currently sits on the Board of National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases, where she chairs communications.

Lisa Janicki - CFO

Lisa Janicki, CPA, Chief Financial Officer, brings 18 years of experience in finance to Rx Communications, having worked with more than 40 clients over the years, providing tax advisory, financial and business consulting, as well as operational marketing, to companies in over 30 different industries. Throughout her professional life, Lisa has also established and run a total of six companies, providing key entrepreneurial expertise. In addition to her responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer at Rx, since 1998, Lisa has served as a Partner at The Jan Consulting Group, LLC, working closely with Fortune 500 companies, middle market companies and Not-for-Profits, to formulate management, marketing and financial assessments, and implement plans to strengthen and position client companies for overall growth. Toward this end, Lisa assists management teams to develop global and national expansion strategies, facilitate M&A activities and develop strategic ventures, where needed. Previously, Lisa spent several years at Arthur Anderson, LLP in the Business Advisory Financial Markets Division, and Business Consulting, where her primary expertise lay in business audits of investment partnerships, small business investment companies, hedge funds, broker dealers and privately held emerging market trading and investment firms. Auditing activities included quarterly and annual SEC reporting, financial statement preparation and compliance review, as well as reviews and assessments of operational and business processes. Client companies ranged from those in the capital markets arena, to those in real estate and insurance. She began her career as a tax analyst for Kraft Foods International, where she also developed a complex expatriate tax planning computer program for use by the company's top executives. Lisa majored in public accounting at Pace University, where she graduated, Cum-Laude, with a BBA degree. Her professional successes have garnered her industry recognition and awards and she is a frequent speaker at metro New York business conferences, seminars and minority expos.

Melody A. Carey - CEO, Founder, President

Melody Carey has over 25 years of professional experience in the healthcare field, as an investment banker and as an investor relations counselor. Prior to founding Rx Communications in 2000, Melody was a top-level consultant to the pharmaceutical industry, where she directed corporate communications initiatives, provided crisis communications counsel, developed messaging platforms, and oversaw the execution of programs designed to increase her clients' visibility and credibility among the financial community and the media. Previously, Melody headed the in-house investor relations efforts for The Multicare Companies, Inc. and Schein Pharmaceutical Inc., where she served as the spokesperson of record until their respective acquisitions. During her tenure as an in-house investor relations officer, Melody directed all internal and external communications pertaining to the investment community and was responsible for increasing the number of non-banking sell-side analysts publishing on the companies, significantly increasing institutional holdings and working directly with investment bankers during the companies' various capital raising transactions. Prior to her in-house investor relations roles, Melody worked on the communications side, heading accounts in the life sciences and healthcare industries, at Noonan/Russo Communications, Inc., a leading international healthcare investor relations firm. Melody began her career in the healthcare industry as an investment banker at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated. Michael K. Miller - SVP

Michael K. Miller has over seven years of experience counseling senior management teams and developing and executing investor relations programs for publicly traded and privately held companies in the life sciences sector. Prior to joining Rx Communications, Michael was a Director at Amato and Partners, a boutique investor relations firm focused on emerging growth and small cap companies. Earlier, he served as Managing Director of MKM Advisors, where he counseled small and medium sized businesses on growth strategies. He also provided investor relations services, including strategic advisory on private equity and venture capital raises. Previously, Michael was Executive Vice President of R.C. Miller Co. Inc., a family business which operated retail locations. In this capacity, Michael was responsible for strategic planning and financing activities, and successfully managed the sale of the business in 2012. Paula Schwartz - Managing Director

Paula Schwartz has more than 25 years of experience as an investor relations counselor. Since joining Rx Communications in 2002, she has worked closely with both privately held and publicly traded companies in the life sciences and healthcare arenas, advising management teams on such issues as messaging and positioning, crisis management and investor targeting. As an expert writer, Paula has created content for client company press releases, presentations, websites, fact sheets and annual reports, among other key communications tools. Prior to joining Rx Communications, Paula was a Partner at The Financial Relations Board, which, at the time, was the largest investor relations firm in the U.S. While there, Paula counseled companies in both the pre-IPO stage, as well as in the after-market. In that capacity, she led in excess of 50 client programs for an international base of companies in a wide range of industries, including biotechnology, specialty pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare services. Paula began her career in investor relations at KCS&A Public Relations, attaining the position of Vice President/Director of Investor Relations Programs.

Rhonda Chiger, Co-founder and Senior Advisor to Rx Communications, has more than 20 years' experience in the healthcare communications field, working with privately held, pre-IPO, and publicly traded companies. In her career, Rhonda has directed financial communications programs for numerous companies in the process of an initial public offering. Prior to founding Rx in 2000, Rhonda was the Senior Managing Director of Global Consulting for Thomson Financial Investor Relations, a division of Thomson Financial Services. Previously, Rhonda was Senior Vice President of Dewe Rogerson, Inc., the U.K.-based financial communications firm. While at Dewe Rogerson, she headed the firm's Healthcare Communications Group, which included teams specializing in investor relations, media relations, and editorial services. In this capacity, Rhonda established herself as one of the industry's leading crisis communications experts, counseling numerous client companies as they worked through such issues as unexpected earnings losses and disappointing results for clinical trials. Rhonda joined Dewe Rogerson from Noonan/Russo Communications where, as Vice President, she headed the firm's life science practice, providing strategic investor relations counsel for an international client base. She also was responsible for creating and implementing customized financial public relations programs. In 1995 Rhonda launched the firm's London office and served as its general manager through its inaugural year. Prior to her tenure with Noonan/Russo, Rhonda established her generalist background at the American Stock Exchange where, as manager of investor relations, she developed and implemented investor relations services for Amex-listed companies. Susan is a Senior Advisor to Rx Communications and Managing Partner of S. A. Noonan Communications. Prior to starting her consulting practice in 2005, Susan was Founder and President of Noonan/Russo Communications, Inc., one of the leading international healthcare PR firms, which was sold to Euro RSCG in 2001. Susan has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and unparalleled contacts in the financial community with industry leaders and reporters. Susan began her career on Wall Street in institutional sales at Merrill Lynch. She believes that every company has an optimal story that targeted investors want to hear. Over the past 30 years, Susan has personally counseled hundreds of CEOs from leading healthcare companies. Inside PR Magazine named Susan to its elite list of Public Relations All-Stars in the Investor Relations category.
