We believe in purposeful breeding of the Australian Shepherd. We believe in only breeding the best for the best and that comes from extensive health and temperament testing on every dog that comes into or leaves our door. We breed to improve the Breed through adherence to the AKC, UKC, and ASCA standards and only breeding dogs with a satisfactory temperament for our goals. Right now our primary focus going beyond is to breed for a working service dog program, Northern Lights Australian Shepherds. We cannot think of anything more rewarding than producing a healthy and sound working dog to help people enjoy and manage their daily lives. However, not every dog has the potential and desire to become a working dog which gives others the opportunity to take home a phenomenal dog for show/breeding, performance, sports or a well loved family pet.
