Sfera Wines emerged in 2013 as showcase for the best fruit of each vintage and as a celebration of more than 20 years of friendship of this wine loving group... In 1993 Geoff Hardy (5th generation decendant of the infamous Hardy Wine family dynasty), having noticed the outstanding quality of the grapes produced around the Mundulla area in South Australia's Limestone Coast wine region, brought together a group of wine loving friends to purchase a 430 acre property near Mundulla in South Australia: Wirrega Vineyard. The circle of friends included Scott Collett, Rocco Melino, Roger Oakeshott, Grant Tilbrook, John Younger and Guido Zuccoli.
