Carlos Barajas

Carlos Barajas is senior vice president and chief business officer for clean power at Sempra Infrastructure. Most recently, Barajas was chief power and storage operating officer for Sempra's subsidiary in Mexico, IEnova. Previously, he served as IEnova's chief operating officer from 2016 to 2018, vice president of operations from 2013 to 2016 and vice president of gas in 2013. Prior to joining IEnova, Barajas was general director at Altamira's LNG's terminal in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Barajas has extensive experience in the energy industry in Mexico, including serving as director of business development at Shell Mexico, commercial director for InterGen Mexico, and commercial manager for Energía Mayakan. Barajas holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, a master's degree in engineering from British Columbia University, and a master's degree in business and economics from Universidad Anáhuac.

Carlos Mauer

Carlos Mauer is senior vice president and chief business officer for energy networks at Sempra Infrastructure. Most recently, Mauer was chief financial officer for Sempra's subsidiary in Mexico, IEnova. He also previously served as chief development officer, where he led IEnova's energy infrastructure development projects. Prior to joining IEnova, Mauer was vice president of South American operations at Sempra International, responsible for Sempra's investments in Chile and Peru, Chilquinta Energía and Luz del Sur, and business development in the region. He also served as vice president of the companies' board of directors. Mauer joined Sempra in 2002 as a commercial manager for Sempra Mexico and has held various roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of business development, financial planning, and asset management. Mauer has extensive experience in the energy industry, specifically in the gas and electric infrastructure segments in the US and Latin America. Earlier in his career, Mauer was involved in international trading operations of crude oil and petroleum products for Petroleos Mexicanos Internacional (PMI) based in Mexico City and London. Mauer holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and management from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey, Mexico.

Carolyn Benton Aiman - Chief Legal Officer, SVP

Carolyn Benton Aiman is senior vice president and chief legal officer for Sempra Infrastructure. She was recently vice president and general counsel for Sempra LNG. She is responsible for all of Sempra Infrastructure's legal affairs, including matters related to legal strategy, LNG development, operations, regulatory, governance and compliance. Benton Aiman has more than 20 years of in-house legal and private law firm experience. She has worked in energy for most of her career and has supported different lines of business across the energy value chain. Benton Aiman has successfully delivered - capital projects and global supply chain for an international company, supporting key capital projects in LNG, deepwater and downstream business lines. Benton Aiman also supported various business lines during her career, such as renewable energy, wind, alternative fuels, manufacturing & commercial, and regulatory & employment law matters. Prior to providing business legal support, Benton Aiman was a litigator and trial attorney managing matters from pre-litigation to full disputes. In addition, Benton Aiman has been a champion of inclusivity and supportive of diversity in the energy sector and the legal profession. She has also served as executive sponsor of employee resource groups focused on women and related key initiatives. During her career, she has been named to the Top 50 Women in the Law 2019 by the National Diversity Council and named Houston Magazine's Woman of Influence in 2017, Houston Business Journal's 2022¬ Women Who Mean Business:¬ Outstanding Business Leader in Energy, and 2022 Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce Role Model. She was recently named a Wonderful Woman by the Lawyers of Color Association and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Corporate Counsel Association and Texas Law Book. Benton Aiman was also featured on the cover of the MCCA magazine, featuring diversity initiatives she led while chairing a large legal department's D&I iniativies for an international energy company. Benton Aiman is a board member of the Greater Houston Partnership. Benton Aiman has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Texas and received a law degree with honors from the University of Missouri.

Faisel Khan - CFO, SVP

Faisel Khan is senior vice president and chief financial officer for Sempra Infrastructure. In this role, Khan oversees the company's finance, accounting, enterprise risk, procurement, information technology and cybersecurity functions. Most recently, Khan was senior vice president of finance and investor relations for Sempra, responsible for communications with the investment community while also providing oversight on Sempra's risk management and treasury matters. Previously, from 2018 to 2019, Khan was vice president of investor relations for Sempra. Prior to working at Sempra, he was a managing director for Citigroup in New York, covering the utilities, energy and energy infrastructure industries. Khan was ranked as one of the top financial analysts in the energy infrastructure sector for over ten consecutive years by several publications, including the Institutional Investor Survey, the Financial Times, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. Before joining Citigroup in 2005, Khan worked for six years at Credit Suisse First Boston, first in investment banking and, later, as an equity research analyst following the power, pipeline and natural gas industries. Khan holds dual degrees and dual minors in engineering, economics and mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA® charterholder. He is also a Board member of Relief International.

Justin Bird - CEO

Justin Bird is chief executive officer of Sempra Infrastructure. In this role, Bird leads the North American energy company as it works to create scale, unlock portfolio synergies, drive growth and help facilitate the global energy transition through three growth platforms: clean power, energy networks and LNG and net-zero solutions. Most recently, Bird was chief executive officer of Sempra LNG, responsible for growing Sempra's liquefied natural gas (LNG) business to serve global markets. Bird also served on the board of directors for IEnova, Sempra's subsidiary in Mexico. Previously, Bird was president of Sempra LNG. In this role, he led the marketing and commercial development efforts of Sempra LNG's five projects. Prior to that, Bird served as chief development officer for Sempra North American Infrastructure. From 2014 to 2018, Bird was vice president and gas infrastructure special counsel for Sempra, leading the company's response to regulatory and litigation activity related to the operation of SoCalGas' Aliso Canyon natural gas storage field. He also served as vice president, compliance and governance and corporate secretary for Sempra, where he directed the company's ethics and compliance programs and also acted as chief governance officer and corporate secretary. From 2012 to 2014, he was director of project finance for Sempra, where he led the successful $7.4 billion financing of the Cameron LNG liquefaction export terminal in Hackberry, Louisiana, as well as several other significant financings. From 2004 to 2012, Bird held positions as counsel, senior counsel and principal attorney, working on a wide range of business transactions for Sempra and its subsidiaries. Bird played a key role in the development and commercial arrangements for the Cameron LNG facility and Energía Costa Azul regasification terminal in Baja California, Mexico. Prior to joining the company in 2004, he was an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he specialized in energy project development and finance. Bird holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the school's Law Review.

Martin Hupka

Martin Hupka is president of LNG and Net-Zero Solutions for Sempra Infrastructure. In this role, Hupka leads the company's business, commercial and marketing activities related to LNG infrastructure and net-zero solutions. Most recently, Hupka was senior vice president & chief commercial officer, leading the consolidated commercial, marketing and commercial optimization functions for Sempra Infrastructure, which included LNG marketing, commercial development and the operations center. Previously, Hupka was chief commercial officer for Sempra LNG and prior to that, he was general counsel, leading all legal affairs related to LNG development, operations and regulatory. He also served as assistant general counsel for Sempra North American Infrastructure, supporting both the Sempra LNG & Midstream and Sempra Renewables businesses. Hupka joined the Sempra Energy family of companies in 2012 as senior counsel in the law department. Before joining Sempra, Hupka was an associate at Clifford Chance LLP, an international law firm. Hupka received his bachelor's degree in international affairs from George Washington University and his law degree from Fordham University.

Randall L. Clark - CHRO, SVP

Randall L. Clark is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Sempra Infrastructure. Most recently, Clark was chief administrative officer and chief human resources officer for Sempra LNG, where he lead Sempra LNG's business services function that includes human resources and organizational development, technology and cybersecurity, external affairs and communications, supply management, and business transformation. Clark has served in various leadership and legal capacities at the Sempra family of companies over the last 20 years. Most recently, he was senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Sempra. In that position he was also the company's chief ethics and compliance officer. Prior to that role, he was the chief human resources officer and deputy general counsel for Sempra. Clark has previously served as chief administrative officer and chief human resources officer at San Diego Gas & Electric Company and as Sempra's vice president - human resources services, vice president - compliance and governance, vice president - corporate responsibility, vice president - corporate relations and its corporate secretary. Before joining Sempra, Clark practiced law at Morrison & Foerster in Los Angeles and at Cooley Godward in San Diego. Clark is a member of several bar associations, the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Society for Corporate Governance, the Society for Human Resource Management and World at Work. He also serves as a trustee on the board and as chairman of the La Jolla Playhouse, where he sits on the audit and finance committees, as a trustee on the board of Francis Parker School, where he sits on the board governance and audit committees, and as a board member of The San Diego LGBT Community Center, where he sits on the executive committee and serves as secretary. Clark graduated summa cum laude and holds a bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University, and graduated with honors from Duke University's School of Law.

Tania Ortiz Mena - President

Tania Ortiz Mena is president of Sempra Infrastructure. In this role, Ortiz Mena leads the company's three business lines: LNG and Net Zero Solutions, Clean Power and Energy Networks. From 2021 to 2023, Ortiz Mena was group president for Clean Power and Energy Networks at Sempra Infrastructure. Before taking this role, she was IEnova's CEO and a member of its board of directors. She began her career at the Sempra family of companies in 2000. From 1994 to 1999, Ortiz Mena was commercial manager of Refined Products in PMI, PEMEX international subsidiary. Additionally, Ortiz Mena serves as independent board member of the Mexican Stock Exchange and chairs its Corporate Practices Committee. She is also member of the U.S.-Japan Business Council and co-chairs its Energy and Infrastructure Working Group, member of the U.S.-Mexico CEO Dialogue and board member of the Mexican Natural Gas Association, the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations COMEXI, the American Chamber of Commerce Mexico AMCHAM, and member of the Inter-American Dialogue. From 2020 to 2022 Ortiz Mena was co-chair of the U.S.-Mexico Energy Business Council. Ortiz Mena holds a master's degree in International Relations from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana.
