Mr. Zeng brings to Shomei more than 25 years of experience in the solar industry, where he gained a broad range of experience ranging from the R&D and procurement of solar PV materials and equipment, plant installation, product development and distribution for both domestic and international markets.

Irfan Verjee

Mr. Verjee is a seasoned portfolio manager with extensive expertise in emerging markets, technology component supply chains, and high-tech software solutions. Mr. Verjee began his career at Oppenheimer Capital before moving to one of the largest and longest operating hedge funds in the world, Kingdon Capital in NYC where he managed a nine-figure book and delivered outsize returns in the hundreds of millions for investors. Today Mr. Verjee is an active investor and advisor focusing on the intersection of energy storage, renewable energy generation, blockchain technology, and transportation. He resides in NYC and Vancouver B.C and holds a bcom in finance and economics from McGill University.

Nolan Gao

Mr. Gao has 5-year experience in project assessment and management. Mr. Gao started his career as a project analyst and manager at GREA, a turn-key solution provider focusing on the infrastructure and alternative energy sector. Mr. Gao specializes in exploiting the distinct value as well as underlying risks of each project, seeks to design a model that maximizes return for investors.

Sunil Kavuri

Sunil is an experienced technology investor focused on institutional transactions, advising and investing in renewable energy/clean-tech, energy storage and infrastructure development. He has strong relationships with large conglomerates, sovereign wealth funds and family offices in the Middle East. Sunil has over 15 years experience in corporate finance and as an investment advisor. Sunil has worked on the Equity Derivative Strategy desk at Deustche Bank, followed by years at Morgan Stanley and on the FX Sales and Trading desk at JP Morgan. He was educated at Rugby School, before reading Economics BSc (Hons) (1st class) at the London School of Economics where he was awarded the Richard Goeltz Prize. He completed his MPhil in Finance from the Judge Business School at Cambridge University. Sunil is also qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
