SMART TRAINING - Key Persons
Michelle has had more than 15 years of training experience and has worked in different roles and organisations alongside Vicky for at least 10 of those years.
Michelle has worked for some of New Zealand's largest employers such as YMCA of Auckland, Spotless NZ Ltd, and Downers Group.
In Michelle's spare time, she loves gardening, walking, going on adventures, and mostly spending time with her son and daughter.
Peter started his career in the NZ Police Force serving in the Auckland region. In the 1990's he moved with his family to the Bay of Plenty which is where his passion for training and development started. He spent 19 years in the Forestry industry moving back to Auckland 6 years ago where his growth for training remained with a focus on operations, health, safety, and compliance.
Peter is a Registered Workplace Assessor specialising in the Manufacturing, Forestry and Construction industries.
Peter is living the good life in the country with his partner Carol and loves spending time with his whanau. Between him and Carol, they have 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Vicky is the Managing Director of Smart Training Limited and has an extensive training history with some of NZ's largest companies. They include Inghams Enterprises Pty Ltd, Spotless Facility Services (NZ) Ltd, Tegel NZ Ltd, Counties Manukau DHB, Millennium Hotels Ltd and The Salvation Army. Vicky started her training career in Private Training Establishments firstly with youth then adults delivering National Qualifications in Business, Tourism and Travel, Computing and Management.
Vicky has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Human Resources), is a qualified Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Educator, Master Practitioner in eLearning Design, Tetramap Facilitator, and a Workplace Assessor for most Industry Training Organisations throughout Aotearoa.
Vicky lives in the country and loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves her local community and is a Board of Trustees Member for Goldfields School in Paeroa. When Vicky isn't creating or delivering training or at home you will find Vicky at the beach.
