From the age of accountability, say to age 60, I struggled with discovering or defining my true identity and purpose in this life. Through the major portion of my adult life, I was, at best, a lukewarm christian or half baked christian. I was a church hopper or church shopper, in pursuit of a church that wouldn't step on my toes. I wanted a church that would allow me to pretend as if I were walking in the model of Christ while holding hands with satan... I knew that I was on the outside looking in. I could not relate to the following verse in scripture. " I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20...
