Dani Taylor - Managing Director

Dani is thrilled to be the managing director for both SOL Theatre Company and Thunder RIver Theatre Company after working as the General Manager for Theatre Aspen and Director of Production for Des Moines Metro Opera over the past several years. Previously she was the resident stage manager for The Rose Theatre in Omaha, NE and production stage manager for the national tours of Bye Bye Birdie, Cabaret and Altar Boyz. Dani holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Technical Theatre from Purdue University and Master of Fine Arts in Production Management from Boston University.

Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson graduated from Northern Michigan University in Michigan's Upper Penninsula with a BFA in Performance Theatre. After 12 years of working as a professional entertainer in over 10 states and two countries, Jennifer moved to the Roaring Fork Valley, which she has made her home. Working at the Crystal Palace Dinner Theatre, as well as Aspen Community Theatre, and most recently Thunder River Theatre in Carbondale, Jennifer has been an active member of the RFV Theatre Community for over 20 years. In addition, she received her Graphic Design Professional Certification from Colorado Mountain College, which has come in handy designing all of the marketing and online materials for SoL. With Sol, Jennifer co-directed and produced A Charlie Brown Christmas and The Little Star, produced Free to be...you and me, Into the Woods (in which she played the role of The Witch), Thoroughly Modern Millie, Rent, and A Christmas Story, and directed and produced James and the Giant Peach, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Charlotte's Web, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Annie Jr, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, Elf, Anne of Green Gables, Godspell, Annie Get Your Gun! and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. In 2015, Jennifer wrote, directed and produced the original musical The Giving Tree, based on the Shel Silverstein story of the same name, with Carbondale recording artist Matt Haslett.

Luke Ryan

Luke is so excited to be joining the SoL team! Born and raised in Aspen, he was on stage frequently in the valley, and grew up part of the original SoL family starting way back in 2013. After leaving the valley he moved to New York City where he studied theatre and dance at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in their conservatory behind Lincoln Center. After graduating from the conservatory he worked at professional theatres, both equity and non union, in NYC and all over the country and continues to split his time between the valley and the city. Select Performance credits include: An American in Paris (Argyle Theatre), Elf (Argyle Theatre), Kinky Boots (Interlakes Theatre), Footloose(Interlakes Theatre), Cabaret (Peregrine Theatre, Broadway World Award Nom.), and Meet Me in St Louis (Theatre Aspen).
