At no point could any of the residents get a response from Skipton Properties and most of the responses from Bungling Benjamin Bentley were dismissive... In 2017-2018 the residents fired Bungling Benjamin Bentley and took control of the management company. It became clear that the way property developers set up the relationship with management companies is severely flawed. In the first year, during the sales of the properties, there needs to be a management company to administer certain aspects of the site. This then sets up a conflict. The management company become the representatives of the residents and the company managing the site. Instead of the residents directly controlling the management company their views and requests are filtered. We have had one response from Skipton Properties in eight years.
