Board of Trustees Veronica Di Polo I come from a talented family of musicians and dancers. My father, concertmaster and founder of El Sistema in Venezuela; my grandmother, a phenomenal opera singer, and my mother, a ballet dancer in her youth. It was no surprise that my love of dancing started when I was 4 years old. At age 5 she was already dancing ballet and performing on national television, then tap and jazz, and then flamenco. A short time later I became part of the Professional Company of Siudy Quintero (Siudy Garrido's mother) that led me to perform at the Pittsburgh Opera in the opera "Carmen". Although my love for flamenco was immense, my curiosity to pursue my dreams and live abroad was greater. I moved to Europe to study while working for the family business. As Marketing Director, I organized large-scale events throughout Europe and Latin America. But the entrepreneurial bug hit me and I got involved in many projects in Latin America and here in Europe where I founded my personal brand company, Veronica Di Polo, an online business where I help women, business owners and entrepreneurs to build powerful strategies and visibility. My love for flamenco has always been there and, although I no longer dance professionally, I am part of the Siudy Flamenco Board of trustees to support their mission and especially to spread the music and movements of flamenco art throughout America.
