Brian Snow - CIO

Brian Snow is the IT Director for SGRA. Brian comes to SGRA with a wealth of knowledge about pacs administation information and computer programs. Brian graduated from Valdosta State University in 1987 with a degree in computer science. Brian continued that education completing Management skills in 1994 from Brunswick College. In 1997, Brian received a certificate of Completion of Advanced Level Relational Database Management software. "Access" from Dataline Computer Services, Inc. He completed his MCSE MCITP to become a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner in 2009. Brian will oversee all of our pacs and assist our hospitals daily with data transition.

Cindy Bierschenk - CFO

Cindy Bierschenk comes to South Georgia Radiology Associates with 22 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. Cindy progressively obtained diverse levels of accounting degrees starting first with an accounting degree from North Georgia Tech in Clarkesville, Georgia. She furthered her education graduating from Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia and subsequently graduated from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega, Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. While obtaining her degrees Cindy worked and moved up through ranks in the financial sector of the health care industry. She started her business career in 1996 at Chestatee Regional Hospital where she worked her way up to Hospital Controller. After leaving Chestatee in 2005, she worked for Resurgence Health until 2011 as the CFO and Interim CFO for Tattnall Community Hospital and Southwest Alabama Medical Center. The next five years, Cindy worked for Candler County Hospital as CFO until 2016 when she relocated to the Director of Finance position with Optim Healthcare. In July of 2018, Cindy joined the SGRA team as our first CFO.

David Castleberry - CEO

David Castleberry received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991 and his Master of Business Administration degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia in 1996. David served in Director level and Administrator positions with increasing levels of responsibility in the span of his career, in both the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. He served in increasing levels of leadership positions with investor-owned Health Management Associates in their Mississippi, Georgia and South Carolina markets, and in 2002, was named Chief Operating Officer at Health Management Associates' East Georgia Regional Medical Center located in Statesboro, Georgia. In 2005, he progressed to Chief Executive Officer at Health Management Associates' Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, South Carolina in 2005. In 2008, David became Chief Executive Officer of Upson Regional Medical Center, a not for profit community hospital in Thomaston, Ga. In 2016, he became CEO of Optim Health System, in Savannah, GA until joining South Georgia Radiology Associates as Chief Executive Officer.

Denise Williamson

Dolores Layton

Dolores Layton BSRA, R.R.A., R.T.(R), (M), (CT), Radiologist Assistant, graduated in 1988 from Medical Center of Central Georgia School of Radiologic Technology. In 2007, Dolores graduated Cum Laude with her Asssociates of Science Degree in General Studies at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia. In 2009, Dolores graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologist Assistant from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California in 2009. Dolores came to SGRA with 21 years of experience in Radiologic Technology registered in Radiography, Mammography, and Computed Tomography.

Dr. Anna Franklin

Dr. Anna Franklin completed her undergraduate education at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology in 2001. She graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia in 2005 with her Doctor of Medicine Degree, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Following medical school, Dr. Franklin completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, Alabama. She joined South Georgia Radiology Associates in 2010.

Dr. Carl Stalvey

Dr. Carl Stalvey obtained his undergraduate degree in 2004 from Georgia Technical Institute in Atlanta Georgia. He entered Mercer University Medical School in Macon, Georgia, where he completed his Doctorate of Medicine in 2008. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine in 2009 and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 2013 at the University of Florida through Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Stalvey joined South Georgia Radiology Associates in August 2013.

Dr. Charles Miller Brown

Dr. Charles Brown graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana with a BA in Physcology. He held honors in Phi Beta Kappa. He furthered his education and graduated Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He held honors in AOA while at the University of Texas. Dr. Brown completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri Medical Center, in Columbia, Missouri in 1976. He completed his Radiology Residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and became board certified in diagnostic Radiology in 1979. During Dr. Brown's Military Service, he served as Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiology, Chief of Body CT and Ultrasound, and Chief of Diagnosis in the Radiology Residency Program of Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio Texas. Dr. Brown's professional appointments include Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology, Chair at Mercer University School of Medicine, Savannah, Georgia Campus and Member, Graduate of the Medical Education Committee at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Brown served as Chief of Ancillary Services, and Chief of Staff, and a Member of the Medical Executive Committee at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, Georgia from 1986 to 2008. Dr. Charles Brown is licensed in 9 states to practice Diagnostic Radiology. He practiced as a solo Radiologist for 22 years in Southern Georgia prior to accepting the Radiology Residency Directorship at Savannah Health University Medical Center In Savannah, Georgia just a few years before joining South Georgia Radiology Associates in 2012. Dr. Brown completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Georgia Southern University in 2010 and then completed his MBA in 2014. Again in 2014, he completed his Doctorate of Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA. Dr. Brown completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 2019 along with a Breast Imaging fellowship in 2020. He holds multiple professional memberships, advanced training and leadership awards. Dr. Brown joined SGRA in November of 2018.

Dr. Dayne Roberts

Dr. Roberts completed his Bachelor of Science in Genetics at The Ohio State University in 1984. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Ohio in 1988. Dr. Roberts completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 1992 along with an MRI fellowship in 1993. Dr. Roberts joined SGRA in April of 2020.

Dr. Gary H. Dent

Dr. Gary H. Dent is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from The University of Georgia earning a Bachelor of Chemistry with High Honors in 1998 before attending Mercer University School of Medicine to earn his Doctorate in Medicine. After nearly two and a half years of general surgery training, Dr. Dent realized the value radiology could bring to a far greater number of patients throughout Georgia. Dr. Dent completed his radiology residency training in October 2008 to become the founding member of South Georgia Radiology Associates and begin practice in south east Georgia with a vision for rural radiology. To date South Georgia Radiology Associates continues to grow in an attempt to bring the highest quality of radiology service and care to hospitals and patients alike.

Dr. Jacob Schwartz

Dr. Jacob Schwartz completed his undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001. He graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA with a Doctor in Medicine degree in 2005. Following Medical School Dr. Schwartz attended Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA and completed an Internship and Residency in Diagnostic Radiology on June 30, 2011. Dr. Schwartz joined South Georgia Radiology Associates in March 2023.

Dr. Jeremy Hill

Dr. Jeremy Hill graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian from Georgia College and State University with a BS in Biology in 2002. In 2006, he was an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Graduate with a Doctorate of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine, Macon, Georgia. Dr. Hill completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, in 2007. He also completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in 2011. Dr. Hill began practice at Crisp Regional in Cordele, Georgia in 2011 and has served on the medical executive committee for Crisp Regional in the roles of Vice Chief of Staff and subsequently Chief of Staff since 2014. Dr. Hill is a member of the Mercer University School of Medicine faculty serving as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Departments of Community Medicine and Radiology. Dr. Hill and his practice joined SGRA in June 2018.

Dr. Philip Neely

Dr. Philip Neely completed his Doctorate of Medicine from Vanderbilt University in 1984. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of South Florida in 1988. Dr. Neely joined SGRA in January 2021.

Dr. Robert Andrews

Dr. Andrews completed his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI in 1995. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD in 1999. Dr. Andrews is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force where he served as a radiologist and flight surgeon. He holds multiple professional memberships and publications. Dr. Andrews joined SGRA in December of 2020.

Dr. Royce Cannington, III

Dr. Royce "Beau" Cannington, III graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2004 with honors, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Following an intern year in internal medicine at MUSC in Charleston, SC, Dr. Cannington then completed radiology residency and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology imaging at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Cannington joined SGRA in 2010 with the goal of practicing general and subspecialty musculoskeletal imaging in South Georgia.

Dr. Scott Williams

Dr. Williams completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University, in 1988. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, in 1992. After completing his Dr. Diagnostic Radiology Residency he completed a Cardiovascular and Interventional fellowship, in 1998. Dr. Williams joined SGRA in September of 2020.

Dr. Shane Baker

Dr. Shane Baker completed his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, Washington, in 1998. He completed his internship in 1999 at Broadlawns Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa and then went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Indiana University-Purdue University of Indiana, Indianapolis, Indiana in 2003. Dr. Baker joined SGRA in February 2022.

Dr. William Woodard

Dr. Woodard completed his Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 1988. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1992. Dr. Woodard completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 1997 along with a Neuroradiology Fellowship in 2002. Dr. Woodard joined SGRA in January of 2020.

Heidi Nichols

Heidi Nichols imaging career started while enlisted in the US Army. After her honorable discharge, she graduated from Loma Linda University's BS in Radiologist Assistant program in 2009. Heidi came back to the RA program at LLU in 2012 as an adjunct faculty teaching four courses (Patient Assessment 1 & 2, and Comprehensive Review 1 & 2). In 2013, Heidi also spread her wings and became an RA Essay Evaluation Committee Member and an RA Item Writer at the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). She also became an American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) RA Curriculum Revision Committee Member and continues to give her all to the profession. In 2016, she completed her Master's degree in Career and Technical Education and also became the current Governor Appointment to the State of Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board. Most recently, Heidi completed her Educational Doctoral degree at University of Wisconsin - Stout. In addition to still teaching in the LLU RA program, Heidi continues to teach Radiography and CT for a technical college in Wisconsin. She joined SGRA in October of 2019 as a Registered Radiologist Assistant.

Holly Roland - COO

Holly Roland began her healthcare career as a Financial Counselor at Upson Regional Medical Center's Business Office, serving as the main interface between the Business Office and the facility's patients. There she developed an appreciation for the importance of providing excellent customer service to patients, as well as across the hospital's departmental lines. Desiring a career in hospital/healthcare operations, she became Executive Assistant to Upson Regional's CEO to allow her visibility into to a wide variety of operations-related functions. During this time, she earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from University of Phoenix, and became Manager of Contracted Services; responsible for the development and management of all contracts between the hospital and service providers across all levels of the facility; clinical, non-clinical/other operational and also physician employment arrangements. She was responsible for the direct management of a number of those entities with whom the hospital contracted for service. Additionally, she was involved in regulatory and governmental compliance and holds a Certification in Healthcare Compliance. Immediately prior to joining SGRA, Holly was Operations Director for Optim Health System's employed-physician division, responsible for a large group of physicians with specialties in primary care, orthopedics, neurosurgery and pain management; with sites across a wide geographic region. Holly brings solid experience in project implementation and project management, process improvement, legal and regulatory compliance, contract/vendor management, physician credentialing and practice operations.

Josh Curtis

Josh Curtis, FNP-BC started his medical career as a Paramedic/Firefighter in 2008. He then obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing degree at Dalton State College in Dalton, GA in 2012. Josh continued his education to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Dalton State College in 2014. He then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2019. He joined South Georgia Radiology Associates in October 2022.

Kandice Owens

Monique Barton

Monique Barton is a graduate of Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia earning a BA in Middle Grades Education, with a focus in Science and History. While attending college she worked in many facets of the medical field. Earning her certification as a Certified Coding Specialist from AHIMA led her to Health Information Management. An opportunity arose to work as a Medical Staff Coordinator at an acute care facility where she was the liaison between administration and the medical staff, coordinating credentialing and privileging for medical staff and allied health professionals, maintaining the credential data base and files, coordinating medical staff meetings and assisting the CQO with administrative duties. Monique is a member of GAMSS and NAMSS and is currently studying for the CPCS exam. She and her family reside in Morganton, Georgia. Monique joined SGRA in August of 2022.

Sonja Deckelman-Klinke

Sonja Deckelman-Klinke CPCS, CPMSM, began her career in 1991 in the Medical Staff Office at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. She has 28 years of experience as a Medical Staff Services Professional and obtained her national certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist in 1998 and Certified Professional in Medical Services Management in 2003. She has served on the Board of the Georgia Association of Medical Staff Services, as the Education Chair, Treasurer, President-elect/Program Chair and as the President. Over the past 17 years Sonja has held positions managing Medical Staff Services departments and was responsible for all functions and processes within the hospital settings. She has extensive knowledge in developing and implementing credentialing processes, overseeing development and adherence to department rules and governance bylaws.

Tonya Burke

Tonya Burke graduated Stephen W. Brown School of Radiography in 1992. She went on to train in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imagining (MRI), and Nuclear Medicine. She has vast knowledge in computer technology, management, patient billing and protocol development. Tonya joined SGRA in 2017.
