Brian Rodd - CEO

Brian Rodd is the President and CEO of Securcor Financial Group overseeing all aspects of the business, including securitization, consumer finance, audit and reporting and portfolio servicing. As part of his role, Brian also designs and executes the overall direction and strategy of the Company, with the aid of his senior management team. Brian also plays a key role in business development by fostering relationships with life insurance and leasing companies. Brian is a CA and is a seasoned financial and operational executive with extensive experience in the automotive leasing and securitization market having spent many years in the audit industry with Ernst & Young, and the retail automotive industry, prior to founding Securcor in 1999.

Catherine Law

Catherine Law has been with the Company since 2008. She is responsible for the operations of the Finance department. As part of this role, Catherine prepares daily cash flow analysis, monthly financial statement packages and annual audit and tax preparation. Her historical experience has evolved from Finance to now include Portfolio Administration (lease administration, customer service and collections). Catherine's financial background has made her a key asset in the evolution of the Servicing Team. She is responsible for the monthly reporting for all the serviced portfolios. Catherine has been in the leasing industry for over 13 years. Prior to that, she worked as a Staff accountant for Ernst & Young.

Katherine Rodd - President

Katherine Rodd has been with the Securcor Financial Group since 2021 and as president of Spartan Services Inc. is responsible for the protection of investors' interest for the portfolios being administered by the company. Katherine and her Spartan team regularly monitor the portfolios as well as servicer risks and covenant compliance. Her role includes coordinating on-site audits of the servicers, and she is also responsible for the standby servicer business of the company, which at present monitors more than 62 facilities for investors. Prior to joining Securcor, Katherine worked as an audit senior manager at Deloitte, servicing a wide range of private company clients in the Toronto market.

Lucy Smallbone

Lucy Smallbone has been with Securcor since 2000. She is responsible for early termination, accounts receivable, cash reserve and portfolio reporting for all securitization customers and funding partners. Lucy also conducts internal audit reviews for all securitization customers and maintains the data for Spartan's Standby Servicing clients. Lucy has been in the leasing industry for 20 years and prior to joining Securcor, held the position of Financial Analyst and Leasing Manager at Applewood Chevrolet.

Neil Woods

Job Titles:

Neil Woods has been with the Company since 2007. He is responsible for the daily operations of the securitization funding group. Neil's role includes responsibility for data verification for all tranche and warehouse funding, documentation, audit and credit analysis, as well as the execution of all legal documentation. Neil also performs field audits as required, and actively works with all Securcor customers to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of each transaction. Prior to joining Securcor, Neil worked in the golf industry in Ontario, providing customer support to both corporate and individual clients.

Tom Howse - EVP

Job Titles:
  • Executive Vice President
Tom Howse has been with Securcor since 2005. He is responsible for the management and credit compliance of the Company's entire securitization portfolio which involves working with all of Securcor's clients. His role includes performing due diligence and credit adjudication on new and existing Lessors, as well as consumer and commercial entities. Prior to working at Securcor, Tom gained extensive experience in senior roles in risk management with structured finance products at Clarica Life Insurance Company and Sun Life Financial. Tom is a CFA® charter holder and holds an Honours degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
