Anna is a Senior Partner in the Commercial Team at Saunders Robinson Brown, and former head of our Commercial Team. She held the firm's Managing Partner position from 2017 until mid-2021.
Anna is also a director of Nelson Building Society, which offers a range of banking and financial services with assets in excess of $1.1 billion. This gives her a unique perspective into finance and funding issues facing her clients whether they are lenders or borrowers.

Caitlin is a Registered Legal Executive in the Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
She assists clients in a variety of property matters including purchases, sales and refinancing.
She has been working in the legal sector for 14 years in various areas of law. She completed her Legal Executive Diploma in 2020 and is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canterbury.
Caitlin joined Saunders Robinson Brown in 2023. She is based in our Rangiora Office.
Cameron is an Associate in the Trusts & Estates and Family Teams at Saunders Robinson Brown.
Cameron advises clients on a wide range of trust and relationship property matters including trust formation, restructuring and administration, as well as separations, Contracting Out Agreements, asset planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wills and Occupation Right Agreements.
Cameron graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing). After completing his studies, Cameron worked in Legal and Compliance for an investment bank in New York and London. Since returning home to Christchurch, Cameron worked as an in-house solicitor for an independent trustee company.
Carole is the People & Culture Manager at Saunders Robinson Brown.
Carole is passionate about supporting individuals and businesses to have strong people and culture systems and demonstrate great leadership. She started her career as a Legal Secretary and moved on to achieving a Legal Executive qualification prior to leaving law to move into personnel roles. She completed her degree and post graduate qualification extramurally at Massey University and considers herself a lifelong learner.
As she has worked as a HR professional for nearly 30 years she has a vast range of practical experience across many businesses and sectors. Carole's previous roles included HR Manager at Hellers Ltd, Manager HR Shared Services and H&S Manager at Canterbury DHB and National Business Risk Manager for Spotless Services Ltd.
Carole has developed and facilitated leadership training and supported businesses to improve leadership skills and implement HR strategies, practices and systems to keep staff safe and healthy in the workplace as well as demonstrating a strong inclusive culture. As a coach, Carole has supported many leaders to understand their strengths, motivations and leadership styles and uses her personal experience to help people improve skills and understand themselves and the people they support.

Casey is an Associate - Registered Legal Executive in the Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
She assists clients with property sales and purchases and works with clients on refinancing matters and general law issues.
Casey has worked in the legal profession for more than 12 years. She became a Registered Legal Executive in 2013 and is an Associate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.
Casey previously worked for another Christchurch law firm before joining Saunders Robinson Brown in 2015.

Cat is a Registered Legal Executive in the Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
Cat specialises in property transactions, such as buying and selling residential properties. She has a particular focus on residential subdivisions and developments.
Cat graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology at the University of Canterbury in 2014, but has been working in the Legal Sector for 10 years. She completed her Legal Executive Diploma in 2023.
Cat joined Saunders Robinson Brown in 2016.
Chris commenced practice at Evans Henderson Woodbridge in Marton that year and joined Saunders Robinson Brown in 2008. From 2012 to 2014, Chris moved to London where he worked as a property lawyer for the London Borough of Havering.
Elyse is an Associate in the Trusts & Estates Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
She specialises in trusts and estate planning law. She assists clients with preparing wills and enduring powers of attorney, advising and attending on Trust administration and structuring, and advising on retirement village matters (including Occupation Right Agreements).
Throughout Elyse's experience advising various types of clients, she particularly enjoys working closely with them to ensure their asset structures and estate plans reflect their intentions and will work best for themselves, and loved ones now and in the future.
After completing her studies, Elyse worked for another Canterbury law firm for two years, as a solicitor in their Commercial and Property Team.
Elyse graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.
Emily is a Solicitor in Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
She assists with a wide range of residential property transactions.
Emily graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.
She began working as a Law Clerk over the Summer in 2019 and joined the Property Team in 2021 while completing her University studies. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in September 2022.

Emma is an Associate - Registered Legal Executive in the Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
She assists a variety of clients (including first home buyers) with all aspects of residential property, including sales, purchases and refinancing. She also acts for developers completing sub-divisions.
She has worked at several prestigious law firms in Canterbury, and joined the Property team at Saunders Robinson Brown in 2016. She works out of our Rangiora office and has over 13 years experience in law.
She graduated from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand with a Legal Executive Diploma in 2014.
Emma is an Associate in the Trusts & Estates team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
Emma has a particular focus on reviewing Trust structures and providing advice following the enactment of the Trusts Act 2019 as well as assisting clients with succession planning including preparing and advising on Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney. She works with our clients to put in place plans that work for them whilst also managing the fluid nature of their legal needs.
Emma's industry experience and empathetic and personalised approach helps ensure our clients can be at ease and achieve the right outcome for their individual needs.

Jacob is a Senior Solicitor in the Commercial Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
As a member of our Commercial team, Jacob assists with a range of commercial related matters including commercial property, leasing, business and company related matters and, intellectual property protection.
While at University, Jacob was active in the leadership of entre, a student-run non-profit organisation aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in Canterbury. Jacob therefore has an in-depth understanding of how start up businesses can be structured, governed and IP-protected in order to help it get off the ground.
Jacob graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Taxation). He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in September 2022.

Jenny is the General Manager and head of the Business Services Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
She has responsibility for the Business Services Team which provides functional support to the firm including in the areas of Finance, Information and Technology, Strategic Planning, People and Culture, Brand and Marketing, Knowledge Management and Administration.
Jenny joined Saunders Robinson in 2003 as the management accountant and has held various roles before being appointed to the role of General Manager in 2021.
With a strong connection to the family farming operations in the south, Jenny has an interest in agribusiness and is always keen for a chat on current issues facing the sector.
She graduated from the of the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Commerce, and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand. She has experience in chartered accountancy (business advisory/tax/audit) and management accounting (manufacturing, professional services and financial services).

Jess is an Associate in the Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
Jess assists clients with property sales and purchases, refinancing, subdivisions, earthquake claim issues, property inspections, off-the plans sales and purchases, first home buyers and general property matters.
In the winter months, Jess is often seen in close proximity to a rugby field, helping out with administration and coaching.
Jess graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication.
John is a Consultant in the Property Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
He has been practising law for over 40 years and specialises in property law, subdivisions, trusts, wills and estates. He acts as a professional trustee for a number of private trusts.
John graduated from the University of Canterbury in 1977 with a Bachelor of Laws and commenced practice with a Blenheim law firm in 1978, where he was in partnership for eight years. He returned to Christchurch in 1987 and joined Saunders & Co in 1990 as a Partner.
He then joined Saunders Robinson Brown as a Partner in 2012.

John has worked in the legal profession since 1995, with experience working for large and mid-size law firms. He led the Estates practice for a firm in Dunedin for a number of years and is an Associate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.
