STOPHAIR - Key Persons

Matt Miller

Matt Miller, invented the StopHair formula in 1998 while he was studying for his PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Part of his study was to investigate how to remove heavy metals from contaminated soil using plants (phytoremediation). When after about a month or so, his wife noticed a great reduction of hair on his lower arms and hands, so he set about trying to find out why this could be happening. He discovered that certain purified plant extracts naturally removed the nutrients from the hair follicle, so in theory, mimicking male pattern baldness. Miller tested, and then patented the concept. Miller now spends his time developing new product formulas based on his knowledge of natural plant properties and how they interact with hair and skin. He has also developed and patented a range of reactive polymer coatings that have various applications in aircraft, automotive, marine and the industrial industries. His Reactive Polymer product range has been used by commercial airlines such as Qantas, Air New Zealand, Virgin, Etihad and others in their regular maintenance of aircraft.
