He is responsible for all of the company's financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations. Prior to founding SureTest, he served as the chief financial officer and an owner of Santa Rosa Consulting, Inc., where he, along with other firm executives, developed the strategic initiative and managed the process that executed a Management Buyout (MBO) of Santa Rosa and ultimately the sale of select Santa Rosa assets to a $130 million NASDAQ-listed company serving the healthcare industry. Earlier in his career, David was the chief financial officer of Union Sportsmen's Alliance and served in corporate finance/controller roles where he played a pivotal part in multiple acquisitions, both domestic and international. He brings 25 years of information technology experience rooted in software design, development, quality assurance, application architecture and project management, with 14 years of that experience dedicated to the healthcare sector. Joe is responsible for the delivery of the SureTest test automation program and its continual innovation as technology advances. Prior to joining SureTest, he served as the technical director of test automation at Santa Rosa Consulting, Inc. In this role he was pivotal in the development and execution of the test automation practice that is SureTest today. Before joining Santa Rosa Consulting, Joe held multiple test automation technical lead, project management, and key EHR roles at hospitals and health systems across the country. He holds multiple Epic certifications, including EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Link, MyChart, and Radiant, and is also certified in the Eggplant enterprise test automation platform, including Eggplant Functional, DAI and Performance. His EHR implementation experience combined with systems and application design, development, and testing has motivated him to apply the benefits and best practices of test automation to the healthcare domain.

His experience includes developing several start-ups, co-inventing healthcare IT products and services, and leading small and large healthcare organizations. While employed at Deloitte Consulting, Joseph served for two years as an EMR hardware/software expert witness to President George W. Bush in a report regarding the exchange of EMRs. While at Santa Rosa he was responsible for client acquisition and overall satisfaction in the Southeast region. Earlier in his career, Steven was an executive vice president of sales and business development at evolve24, a provider of analytics-as-a-service solutions. He was also the vice president of sales for the Southeast Region at The Revere Group, which was acquired by NTT Data in 2012. Steven is a Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) member and an active alumni volunteer and mentor for students attending the Business School at East Carolina University.
