Alexa Ujlaky

Alexa, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, began working for Supporting Kidds in 2021. She obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from West Chester University and her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. Alexa believes strongly in the resiliency of the human spirit and has been working with children and their families in a variety of capacities for over 13 years. Originally from Michigan, Alexa has been living in Delaware with her husband and dog for over 10 years.

Cailin Breyla

Job Titles:
  • Administrative Program Coordinator
Cailin began her work with Supporting Kidds as an Office Assistant in December of 2021. She previously attended the University of Delaware to obtain a Bachelors in Psychology, and continues her education at Wilmington University earning a Bachelors in Computer and Network Security. Cailin is a Delaware native and lives in Wilmington with her boyfriend, two cats, snake, bearded dragon, and rabbit.

Chanel Y. Grundy

Chanel Y. Grundy is a licensed professional counselor with over ten years of experience in behavioral science, mental health counseling, and addiction services. Driven by her passion for the healing process, she takes pride in providing a safe space for those seeking support along their journey. Ms. Grundy believes that compassion paired with an active interest in the well-being of others enhances the gravitating effects of change. Integrating Positive Psychology into her practice to promote inner peace and self-acceptance; she specializes in mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, life transitions, women's issues, and trauma. Her clients describe her as ‘compassionate, understanding, and dedicated to the change we create.' Ms. Grundy maintains growth in this field with the philosophy that therapy is a beautiful journey to self-discovery, peace, and empowerment. She works with her clients to address underlying issues suspending their ability to operate from their highest and best. She uses a variety of approaches that best serve each individual, offering an eclectic style to the therapy experience. Most of all, she DEEPLY enjoys the work she does!

Dorothea Ormsby

Dorothea, a native of Delaware, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware with a major in Community and Family Services. She also has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore with a concentration in Clinical, Community Organization, and Social Administration. Dorothea holds a License of Clinical Social Work in the State of Delaware.

Leana Owens

Leana Owens is a Bereavement Counselor and Healing Pathways Coordinator. She started at Supporting Kidds as a graduate student intern. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University.

Louise Cummings

Louise, an attorney and child advocate, began managing Supporting Kidds in 2021 as its Interim Executive Director. Louise obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Georgetown University and her JD from Howard University School of Law. After losing her husband in the line of duty, Louise has decided to commit her time to preserving and sustaining the work of Supporting Kidds by bringing more awareness to childhood bereavement. Louise is passionate about educating the community to better understand and support children and families suffering from grief and loss. Originally from Massachusetts, Louise now lives in Hockessin with her daughter and mother.

Nicole Rehbach

Nicole began her work at Supporting Kidds in 2022 as an intern while completing her Master's degree in Human Services at Wilmington University. She had remained a part of Supporting Kidds as a volunteer and then decided to join the team as a Healing Pathways Coordinator. She is a Delaware native and grew up right here in Hockessin. When she's not working, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with friends, family, and her dog Jameson.

Terrance Wingate

Job Titles:

Terrance is a master's level clinician who has worked with Supporting Kidds for 2 years. As he works with clients, he takes into account the multifaceted identities they share, while also recognizing their differences. He believes that therapy can provide meaning and purpose and nurture one's sense of connection. In a supportive environment, where intersectionality is embraced, clients can feel free to express vulnerability. Everyone needs support from time to time in their lives. Terrance aims to provide a non-judgmental, grounded space to discuss goals and offer feedback and observations as clients move forward in life. Terrance strives for a therapeutic relationship that promotes autonomy and supports self-efficacy while offering a safe space for personal exploration and resolution of ambivalence. He aims to help clients navigate through trials and tribulations wherever they are in their grief journey.
