Juan Velayos - Chairman

Juan Velayos is the Founder & Managing Partner of JV20, a real estate investment and Advisory firm based in Spain. Juan was previously the CEO of Spanish homebuilder Neinor Homes, a company owned by Lonestar, which he led to a successful IPO in 2017. He also held several other senior executive positions, including Managing Partner at Alantra (Real Estate investment management), Partner at PWC (leading transactions services firstly for Spain and afterwards globally), CEO at homebuilder Mixta Africa, and CEO at Real Estate public company Renta Corporación. Juan started his career at Uría Menéndez Abogados, one of the leading Spanish law firms, where he became Partner at 31. Juan holds a Law Degree from Abat Oliba University and an EMBA from IESE Business School. Juan started his career at Uría Menéndez Abogados, where he became partner at 31 in the M&A, Capital Markets and Real Estate practice. Afterwards, from June 2007 until 2011, Juan was CEO for the public real estate company Renta Corporación, leading the restructuring process ( 800 million in debt) and managing more than 1,000 million in assets. During 2011 he was also CEO for Mixta Africa, a homebuilder with presence in six different North African companies. Then, at 38, he became partner at PWC leading the transactions real estate practice, firstly for Spain and afterwards globally. In December 2014, Juan joined the Spanish homebuilder Neinor Homes as CEO, a company owned by Lonestar until its IPO in March 2017. Actually, Juan is Managing Partner at Alantra, leading the Real Estate Asset Management business. Juan holds a Law Degree from Abat Oliba University and a EMBA from IESE

Maria Terzini

She is based in London where she has worked on several real estate transactions across Europe. Prior to joining TPG in 2018, Maria started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Maria holds a M.Sc. in Finance and a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University in Milan. She serves on the Board of Directors of Tempore Properties SOCIMI, one of the leading public PRS platforms in Spain.

Matthew Coleman

Mr. Coleman is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of TPG Real Estate and is based in San Francisco. Before joining TPG in 2012, Mr.Coleman was the General Counsel of the real estate private equity group at D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P. From 2000 through 2005, Mr. Coleman was an attorney in the New York office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where he practiced in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and securities. Mr. Coleman graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University with a B.A. degree in Economics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned a J.D. degree from Yale Law School, where he served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal and as the editor-in-chief of the Yale Journal on Regulation. Mr. Coleman currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bluegrass Senior Living.

Michael Abel - Chairman

Michael is a Partner at TPG, a leading global private investment firm with approximately $120 billion of assets under management. He has helped establish TPG Real Estate's efforts in Europe and is a member of TPG Real Estate's Investment Committee and TPG Europe's Executive Committee. Rafael is the founder and president of Basico Real Estate (2009), a real estate management and services company, born in the financial and real estate crisis and which today has +200 employees and 6 regional offices. From Basico RE he has participated of the profound transformation of the Spanish real estate market and especially the residential sector, working for major international investment funds, financial institutions and Spanish housing developers. Previously, he worked at Metrovacesa, S.A. (2004-2009), as director of the Residential Development area; he resided in Chile, between 1998-2004, where he founded and served as CEO of Habitaria, S.A. -joint venture between Quiñenco, S.A. (Luksic Family) and Ferrovial Inmobiliaria, S.A.. Previously, he worked as Commercial Director at Ferrovial Inmobiliaria, S.A. and Director of Expansion in Shopping Centers at Riofisa, S.A. He has been professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (subject: Business Creation, 305-C) and at ESE of the Universidad de los Andes. He collaborates with the NGO "Sumando sonrisas con Emma". He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from ICADE (E-2) and an MBA from IESE.
