TECSCHANGE

The Computer Repair Course Committee coordinates the Computer Repair Course which we offer four times each year to youth, community residents and activists in the Boston area. The committee sets the yearly schedule of classes, organizes tutors, designates the lead facilitators, and assesses student applications. The committee also arranges presentations given by local progressive groups several times during the course, focusing on social change projects that TecsChange is involved with... TecsChange is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization in East Boston, Massachusetts. We provide computer equipment, training and technical support to grassroots groups here and abroad. In the past we have offered computer courses to organizers and activists. We also offered our YouthTech program on technology and media to teens.
