COMMUNITY DAY SCHOOL - Key Persons
Alexis has led the program in acquiring and maintaining a 3 Star rating since 2014. Alexis holds a Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Administration from Ashford University, with a minor in Early Childhood Development. Alexis has also completed the Tennessee Early Childhood Program Administrator Credential in 2015. It is a recognition awarded to early childhood administrators who have demonstrated the specific competencies for effective leadership and management through academics, experiences, and portfolio assessment. Alexis has previous experience that includes working as an assistant teacher and as a lead teacher in preschool classrooms. Alexis has been mentoring teachers and has been a Director in several programs throughout the past 25 years
Hannah joined the Administrative Team in 2018 but has been with The Community Day School since 2014. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Austin Peay State University, an Early Childhood Technical Certificate from Nashville State, and her Child Development Associate Credential from Nashville State. Hannah has also completed the TECTA Orientation for Infant/Toddlers, TECTA Orientation for Early Childhood, and TECTA Orientation for Administration. Hannah came to The Community Day School with several years of experience in administration and as a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher in infant/toddler and preschool classrooms.
