Clarise Miller

Clarise is a native Floridian. Clarise says," I love what I do." She has an open heart and mind for the residents that she serves. She loves helping others by empowering them to help themselves. Clarise has been working in health care for more than 30 years, she chose this field as she has always felt a kinship with older adults. In her spare time, she enjoys the beach and parks.

Claudia Innocent

Claudia's nursing journey is remarkable and reflects her passion and dedication. Starting as a licensed practical nurse and progressing through various educational and professional milestones, she has demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care. Her extensive experience in diverse roles, from charge nurse to Chief Nursing Officer, showcases her versatility and leadership skills within healthcare. Her involvement in professional organizations and community service highlights her dedication to advancing the nursing profession and supporting her fellow nurses. As an adjunct professor, Claudia could pass on her knowledge and expertise to the next generation of rising scholars. Besides her professional endeavors, Claudia's interests include reading, music, road trips, and dancing, which reflect her being a well-rounded individual. Rachelle received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the #3 ranked the University of Arizona, in Speech-Language Pathology. She graduated Magna Cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Master of Speech-Language Pathology Valedictorian, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society Philanthropic Chairperson, and President of the Arizona Dancers' Consort. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the life-changing functional improvements in people's mobility and ability to perform their activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, self-feeding, etc.) as a direct result of her sub-acute and long term care therapy program development. She also loves living her passion for inter/intradisciplinary team building, inclusion, equality, and employee education/mentoring/professional development on a daily basis. She has over 28 years of experience in healthcare as a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 17 years of experience as a rehabilitation director. Rachelle was led to speech-language pathology when she realized she wouldn't pursue neuroscience exclusively. Being a speech pathologist encapsulated not only her love for neuroscience but her other passions of voice and swallowing disorders. She chose to move into management as it allowed for her own continued professional growth, to be challenged and stimulated daily, as well as the opportunity it presented to effect the positive functional quality of life changes in patients' and residents' lives. Women of Distinction Recipient: Florida's Best & Brightest Director of Rehabilitation. She spends her spare time enjoying live music, going to the gym, bicycling along the A1A, kayaking on the intercoastal, and relaxing on the beach with my family and friends.

Larry is our community's Maintenance Director. He enjoys Interacting with the Residents and patients. He has a true passion for his job and has been working in healthcare for 13 years. He wanted to make a difference in people's lives and enjoy spending time with the residents. In his spare time, he reads.

Melissa Shepard

Melissa is the Admissions Director at The Legacy at Boca Raton. She has been in healthcare since 1997. While she was in college, Melissa's tenure began at our community as the receptionist, and eventually, that led her to Admissions. She loved the atmosphere at our community, so decided to take the opportunity. Melissa likes that every day she learns something new. Her favorite part of her job is meeting the families and residents and hearing about their life experiences. She feels that in this career, she gets to meet so many wonderful people, some who become lifelong friends. In her spare time, she really enjoys being outdoors, art, painting, and reading.

Monica Carrion

Monica's been working in the healthcare arena for the past 10 years. She has completed her certification in HIPAA/Medical Records Law Florida regarding privacy and security regulations. Working as a health information professional allows her to analyze trends and ensure that everyone's medical records are accessible, up to date, and in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations. She lived on Long Island, New York, and moved to South Florida over 12 years ago. After beginning a career in Real Estate, she began to take a particular interest in aspects of healthcare. Throughout her career in this field, she was offered a position as Medical Records Director. Her favorite part of her job is to have the ability to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Her priority is to provide the best service and care for the residents and their family members. Monica is also excited and honored to be part of the Legacy Team here at Boca Raton. In her spare time, she loves traveling, visiting new cities, discovering new places, and learning new cultures. She also enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Robin Gardiner

Susan Drake

Job Titles:

Susan has an Associate Degree in Nursing, and received her nursing degree in 1983, and was promoted to a neuroscience nurse manager for 7 years at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. She then worked as a spinal cord and brain injury nurse and nurse liaison at Sea Pines Rehab Hospital in Melbourne. Once her family moved to Boca Raton, she worked at Pinecrest Rehab Hospital both as a nurse liaison and marketing clinical programs for inpatient and outpatient clinics. After leaving acute rehab, she became a part of the Regents Park family in 2005 evaluating patients for admission and marketing the facility programs. Joining The Legacy at Boca team in 2021 has been both exciting and challenging, as the team broadens our community relationships and maintains our success as a premier facility. She loves her co-workers in the admissions office and feels as though they are her second family. She loves our community, and wouldn't want to work anywhere else. In her spare time, she likes to walk, read, go to the beach, and vacation in the Caribbean.

Veron Wilson

Veron graduated from Jersey College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Her favorite part of her job is making a difference in the lives of the residents and families. The personal connection that she is able to make with residents...even if they do not remember her name, they will however remember that she was kind and compassionate. She enjoys being a part of the Legacy team and has been working in healthcare for 11 years. Veron always enjoyed helping others. She feels as though it is really fulfilling to see how you can assist a person to get through a difficult time, whether it means providing attention, administering medication, or even just providing words of encouragement. This was the most fitting career for her personality. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family.
