Dr. Ng has over 30 years of research and professional experience in cyber security, information system engineering and auditing with a Doctor of Philosophy, and a Master of Technology - Software Engineering, focused in Computer Science, both from Macquarie University, Sydney. He is the author of many scholarly research papers in journals, international conferences, and recently, a book in cyber security, Contemporary Identity and Access Management Architectures: Emerging Research and Opportunities ©2018 (ISBN13: 9781522548287).
Lawrence has over 30 years of experience in Auditing, Financial Control and Taxation. He started as an Auditor in PWC （PriceWaterhouseCoopers）in 1982 for 5 years and had worked as Financial Officer in various well-known companies for 6 years before migrating to Australia, as from which he had been employed by different sizable and reputable Chartered firms as Senior Manager for providing Auditing and Business Services to large companies, non-profit organisations, Trust accounts, Strata & Community Plan, Financial Service Licensee holders and SMSF. Lawrence holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University and Bachelor of Commerce from University of Southern Queensland. Lawrence is a member of CA-ANZ, and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) since 1987. Lawrence is a Registered Company Auditor, Registered Tax Agent and a Justice of the Peace.
Lawrence has over 20 years of experience in Advisory, Financial Analysis, Management & budgetary control / reporting, and Financial Reporting. Prior to joining Theway, he had worked in KPMG as management consultant (M&A group); and several other multi-national conglomerates in various industries including consultancy, investment banking, financial services, and telecommunication for over 20 years in Australia and in Hong Kong.
