After a workplace injury, I found myself in need of a new career and was drawn to health and safety. Once I acquired the necessary education and certifications, I jumped into a WSIB Workwell Audit for a mid sized contractor in London Ontario... Upon successful completion of that audit I was on to my next adventure, a four month contract on the US Military base, Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. Working as Safety Lead in the maintenance department, I was responsible for developing training programs and procedures for the mostly foreign national workforce.
