A native of Tampa Florida. Mr. Minardi began working for his grandfather, owner of Yellow Cab in Tampa during college. He studied the business model from his grandfather's leadership, community connections and direct involvement with the call takers, mechanics and drivers. Mr. Minardi worked his way up to becoming President of Yellow Cab. Mr. Minardi has also built several other successful companies recognized nationally within the transportation and insurance divisions. Throughout the years, Mr. Minardi has helped design and build several custom homes, in his past time. In 2010, Mr. Minardi decided to follow his true passion for building and sold his companies to focus on homebuilding. After several remodeling projects and completing (2) brand new home construction projects, Mr. Minardi decided to take home building from his past time project to a full-time business. In 2017, he formed Trident Building Partners, Inc. along with his childhood friend, Stephen Smith. No matter what the project size or the extent of details, excellent service and customer satisfaction is the core of our focus and goals.
Mr. Smith received his Master of Architecture from University of Chicago in 1985. Mr. Smith is an architect and partner in the Tampa firm of Cooper Johnson Smith Architects and Town Planners, founded in 1986. In 2017, Mr. Smith founded Trident Building Partners, Incorporated along with Mr. Darryl Minardi. Many of Mr. Smith's projects have received national and regional professional and civic awards. Awards include Coastal Living Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Florida Architecture, Florida Design Review and the Classicist.
