VENICE TAKEDOWN CLUB

Our Mission and Purpose: The Venice Takedown Club was organized to help educate, promote and support the sport of youth wrestling in the Venice, FL area. Funds raised by our organization provide financial support to the Venice High School Wrestling Team and Venice Warriors Youth Wrestling Program members. Primarily, this support helps enable them to attend wrestling camps and clinics, tournaments, acquire wrestling equipment and coordinate youth wrestling events... Based in Venice, Florida, the Venice Takedown Club, Inc. was established in December, 2016 as a Florida Not-for-Profit organization. The Club has been granted Public Charity status as a 501(c)(3) entity by the IRS. With ever-increasing demands placed on coaches requiring them to dedicate time to fund-raising rather than coaching, the club was formed to help reduce that burden. Board members and officers are all uncompensated volunteers.
