UMANG SCHOOL

The Shrimad Rajchandra Seva Kendra (Trust) was constituted and registered as a non- governmental (NGO), non-profit, public charitable trust in 2004. Since its inception, it has been running the Umang Education and Research Centre for the Hearing Impaired. The Institute receives no aid from the state government or the municipal corporation. It depends mainly on donations for its functioning. Yet, it strives to provide quality holistic education, free of cost to hearing impaired children between the ages of 1 to 2 months and 18 years, living in and around Ahmedabad, irrespective of religion, caste or gender. It helps needy and deserving families by providing them with books and materials, uniforms, and transport. It has helped a large number of children by getting sponsorships for their hearing aids and education.
