UMANG SCHOOL

The Shreemad Rajchandra Seva Kendra (Trust- E/16767) was constituted and registered as a non- governmental (NGO), non-profit, public charitable trust in 2004. Since its inception, it has been running the Umang School for Children with Hearing Loss. The Institute receives no aid from the state government, central government or the municipal corporation. It depends mainly on donations for its functioning. Yet, it strives to provide quality holistic education, free of cost to hearing impaired children between the ages of 1 or 2 months to 18 years, living in and around Ahmedabad, irrespective of religion, caste or gender. It helps needy and deserving families by providing them with books and materials, uniforms, and transport. It has helped a large number of children by getting sponsorships for their hearing aids and education... Till September 2020 we were functioning in the old building of our school at Paldi, Ahmedabad. Then from October 2020 we started operating in our own building..
