Amy Moorhead

Amy was born and raised in Merced, California. She began her legal career as a student working in a law firm during her senior year in high school. She attended Merced College where she received her Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2000. She is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association and Sequoia Paralegal Association. During her free time, you can find her at the ballpark watching her three boys play baseball.

April Garner

April is a recent transplant to the valley, having lived in Washington, Utah, Alberta Canada, and Colorado, and so far she loves it, especially the gardening. She has a bachelor's degree in English and American Literature from Brigham Young University and a paralegal certificate from Adams State University. She is a member of the Sequoia Paralegal Association. In her free time April enjoys painting, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Charlotte Wittig

Charlotte was born in Los Angeles and resided in Baldwin Park, California until the early 1970s when she moved to Fresno​. In Fresno, she attended Fresno City College and the Fresno School of Court Reporting where she received her associate degree in court reporting. Charlotte moved to Visalia in 1975 and worked as a court reporter in the Tulare County Superior Court until she later transferred tot he United States District Court, Eastern District of California. Charlotte decided to change careers and enrolled in law school where she received her Juris Doctorate degree cum laude in 1984. As an attorney, she worked with a firm that became Wilson, Altshule & Witting for approximately 14 years. In 1998, she left the firm to serve the Tulare County Superior Court as a subordinate judicial officer, where she presided primarily over cases involving abused and neglected children. She is the former chair of the Tulare County Blue Ribbon Commission on Children in Foster Care and founder of the Access to Higher Education event (an annual event held to encourage high school-aged foster youth to graduate from high school and pursue higher education. In 2012, she joined the law firm of Williams, Brodersen, Pritchett & Burke LLP where she practices primarily in the areas of business and estate planning.

Giovanna Mabanag

Giovanna was born in Santa Monica and raised in Los Angeles County. In 2003, she moved to Riverside County and graduated from UC Riverside in 2007. She has been working in the legal field since 2012. She recently moved to Visalia with her husband and started working for the firm in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, friends, and her dog, Gabbana.

Jennifer Black

Jennifer has experience in probate, trust administration and litigation, business formation, contract litigation, public agency law and water law. She has served as the President for the Sequoia Paralegal Association twice .

Kathryn Rubio

Kathryn was born and raised in Los Angeles County and attended Pierce and Moorpark colleges for general education classes. She joined the firm in 2013 and received her Associate of Science degree and Paralegal Certificate from Bryant & Stratton College in 2017. She is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association and Sequoia Paralegal Association. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys watching Dodgers baseball, movies and spending time with her family and friends.

Nicholas R. Ruiz

Nick was born and raised in Visalia. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School and College of the Sequoias before continuing his education at California State University of Fresno where he received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology with a focus on Forensic Behavioral Science. Nick received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law where he graduated near the top of his class. Nick was the Articles Editor for the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin during all three years of law school and was a CALI award recipient (Top Student) in Copyright Law and Criminal Procedure Law. Nick began practicing law in San Francisco with the Cartwright Law Firm before returning to Visalia and joining Williams, Brodersen Pritchett & Burke LLP.

Nick Pritchett

Nick was raised in Tulare County. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School and College of the Sequoias in Visalia, and graduated from Whittier Law School in 1999. He began practicing law in the Los Angeles area before returning to Visalia, where he lived since 2007.

Pam Maxedon

Pam was born and raised in Tulare County. She received her Associate of Science degree and her Paralegal Certificate from the College of Sequoias in 1993. She has been in the legal field for more than 20 years and has extensive experience in civil litigation and personal injury matters. Pam is a member of the Tulare County Bar Association and Sequoia Paralegal Association. She enjoys watching her children's soccer games and crocheting. She is a die-hard sports fan and loves to watch the San Francisco 49ers.

Russell P. Burke

Russ was born in San Diego, and was raised in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. After graduating from high school, he served a two-year church mission in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. After his mission, he attended Utah Valley University (then Utah Valley State College) and his Associate's degree with an emphasis in Spanish. He then attended Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Russ worked for the Utah County Juvenile Court prior to entering law school at Lewis & Clark Law School (then Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College), receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 2005. After working in the corporate office of a construction supply company, Russ moved to Visalia in 2007 and became a Deputy District Attorney with the Tulare County District Attorney's Office. Russ transitioned to civil law in 2011 and became an associate attorney with the firm. In 2018, Russ became a named partner of now Williams, Brodersen, Pritchett & Burke LLP where he practices in business and estate planning, real estate, agricultural law, and civil litigation.

Steven R. Williams

Steven was born in Dinuba, California in 1951. He attended elementary and secondary schools there and was active in the 4-H program at the local, county, state, and national levels. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Reedley College and transferred to the University of California at Davis where he majored in Agricultural Economics and received his Bachelor's degree in 1973 with High Honors. Steven immediately went to law school at the University of San Diego and received his Juris Doctorate degree cum laude in 1976. After teaching agriculture in Jamaica, he returned to the Central Valley where he became an associate attorney in the law firm of Crowe, Mitchell & Crowe in Visalia. Steven has continuously remained with the firm since that time and is now the senior partner of Williams, Brodersen, Pritchett & Burke LLP where he actively practices in the areas of business and estate planning, real estate, agricultural law, and civil litigation. Steven married his wife, Denise, in 1978. They have two daughters. Steven and Denise enjoy worldwide travel mixed with good food and wine. He is also actively involved within the Visalia community through his years of service on various city and non-profit boards, including the Visalia Friends of the Fox Theater.

Thomas C. Brodersen

Thomas was raised in Porterville and attended California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering. After working for several years as an engineer, Thomas attended law school, while working, and became an attorney in 1987. He began working for the firm when it was named Crowe, Williams & Jordan. Thomas has served on the Boards of Directors of the Tulare County Bar Association - Lawyer's Reference Service, Visalia Chamber of Commerce, Tulare-Kings County Estate Planning Council, Visalia YMCA, COS Foundation, Redwood Assistance Foundation and the Tulare County Law Library Board. He and his wife, Ann, have three sons and several grandchildren. Thomas handles business matters, contracts, trusts and estate planning, probate, real estate issues, construction and engineering issues. Thomas is a member of the California Bar, the American Bar Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
