Catherine Moncus is a highly successful personal injury and wrongful death lawyer with over 23 years of experience representing individuals and their families. Catherine has successfully handled hundreds and hundreds of personal injury cases and successfully settled and or litigated several million dollar, multi-million dollar cases, including a 3.5 million dollar settlement 2 years ago. Catherine has a true passion for representing individuals and their families. Catherine approaches each case in a compassionate, logical, and considerate manner. Former clients consistently leave Catherine rave reviews and frequently refer new clients to our firm. Catherine currently serves as Treasurer for the Women's Section of the Alabama State Bar. Catherine Moncus has been an invaluable part of our team at Walton Law Firm, P.C. for over 15 years. Before becoming a lawyer at Walton Law Firm in 2007, Catherine was a sole practitioner at Moncus Law Firm in Alexander City, Alabama. Prior to opening her own office in August 2005, Catherine was a partner at Ingram Moncus Law Firm in Alexander City where she was involved in large settlements involving personal injury, wrongful death and/or products liability. She was previously an associate there when the firm was Kenneth Ingram, Jr. & Associates, P.C. before becoming partner. While at the firm, Catherine appeared several times on Law Call on WSFA 12 television in Montgomery speaking on various legal subjects. Her law career began in 1998 at Morris, Haynes, Ingram & Hornsby which also practiced wrongful death, products liability and personal injury. Catherine grew up in Alexander City, Alabama and continues to live there with her family. Catherine and her husband, Ricky Moncus, have two sons, Austin and Dylan. Austin is a teacher at Chilton County High School and is married to Jessica Towry Moncus. Dylan attends Samford University and is a member of their golf team. Charity has been with Walton Law Firm, P.C., since 2017 serving as the firm's receptionist. Prior to joining the firm, Charity was employed with Opelika City Schools for eleven years where she worked with the Pre-K and Special Needs classes. Charity attended Southern Union State Community College where she obtained an Associate in Applied Science - Radiologist Technology degree in 1999. Charity grew up in LaFayette, Alabama, but currently resides with her family in Opelika, Alabama. She and her husband Jamie have two children and two grandchildren.

Betty grew up in Auburn Alabama, where she continues to live with her husband, Carl Ryberg and two children, a 13 year old who attends East Samford Middle School and a 21 year old who is currently in college. Betty Burns is a seasoned legal marketing professional with a passion for elevating brands and driving business growth. As the Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Walton Law Firm, P.C. in Auburn, Alabama, Betty plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm's image and expanding its reach in the legal community. Trevor grew up in Chambers County Alabama, where he still resides with his girlfriend Sage and their two Golden Retrievers, Moose and Sampson. Trevor graduated from Valley Highschool in 2018. Following his high school graduation, Trevor attended Faulkner University on a Golf Scholarship. Trevor received his B.A. in Law & Justice from Auburn University in 2022. Following an internship with Walton Law Firm, P.C. and his graduation from Auburn University, Trevor joined our team full time in 2023. Trevor is a member of Lanett Congregational Christian Church and enjoys playing golf as much as possible, along with collecting vinyl records.
