Cheyla Lachowsky

After completing both her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Alberta, Cheyla returned to her hometown of Stettler in 2020 to begin her legal career. Cheyla prides herself on being approachable, easy to understand, and practical. She focuses on making sure your wishes are followed by taking the time to listen to your unique needs and goals. Whether you are planning for the future of your family farm, you are a new business owner, or you are buying a home, Cheyla would be happy to guide you through the process.

Daniel J. Wilson

Daniel assists clients in all areas of commercial law, including incorporations, reorganizations, the purchase or sale of a business, leasing, financing, and all types of contract matters. If our clients require assistance with their estates, Daniel can help by preparing their will, power of attorney, personal directive, and estate administration. He also has experience in business and farm succession planning. Having lived in Central Alberta his whole life, Daniel recognizes the unique situations many of his clients face when planning for the future of their business and family. Daniel has appeared in both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen's Bench as a criminal defence lawyer in nearly every jurisdiction within the province of Alberta. Even though his clients often face difficult circumstances, Daniel strives to provide practical, honest, and forthright advice. Outside the office, Daniel spends most of his free time with his wife and four kids. He enjoys being active by playing and coaching hockey in his community.

Ken Cruickshank

Ken Cruickshank was born in Calgary and later moved to Saskatchewan where he graduated from the College of Law in Saskatoon in 1976. Ken moved back to Alberta after law school and has been in Lacombe ever since. In his early years of practice, Ken took on all types of legal matters including matrimonial, criminal, and litigation work. Ken officially retired from the practice of law in 2023. Ken is an avid golfer and enjoys giving back to the community which has been so good to him.
