Wildebeest is permanently closed. From 2013 till it closed in May 2017, Wildebeest offered its tasty and visually beautiful vegan food to delighted customers. Content is from the site's 2013 -2017 archived pages as well as from other outside sources... We are strongly influenced by culinary styles and flavours from all over the globe, particularly Japan and Mexico, so we enjoy creating menus that are diverse and exciting. We like to experiment with different ingredients, flavour combinations and cooking techniques, using fresh produce which is often local and organic. A keen interest in vegan baking and desserts also means we offer delicious sweet treats, with homemade raw cheesecakes, fudgy brownies and creamy ice creams all making regular appearances on the menu... At Wildebeest, we prefer to focus on quality rather than quantity… So our menu is small but it changes regularly, written on the cafe's blackboard every day.
