Julie Kolodziej, J.D., is a 1996 graduate of the DePaul University College of Law. Julie frequently brings her extensive experience in estate planning, guardianship, probate, trust administration and tax to bear to develop efficient, effective plans for aiding fiduciaries through a well thought out and proper estate or trust administration. Julie's goal is to help clients put in place plans that will bring their families through all the circumstances of life while maintaining family relationships. Her experiences with families who have been destroyed by a failure to plan drives Julie to help as many families as possible to be proactive in planning for possible disability and eventual death. As an attorney, Julie developed the estate and trust administration and litigation practice at Matlin Law Group, P.C. from the ground up. In 1998, Julie was brought on to provide expert advice to families who experienced a disability or death in their family. Julie's early background working at the McDonald's Corporation taught her the importance of process in accomplishing a consistent quality result for her clients in a highly efficient manner. In that fast-paced environment, Julie developed the ability to come up with effective solutions to tough problems and implement them in real time. These early experiences have highly influenced the way law is practiced in a non-traditional, better way.
