YVONNES DANCE ACADEMY

Founded in 2008, Yvonne's Dance Academy has grown from a one-room studio at St. Benedict Preparatory School to a family of close to 200 dancers within the North Center community. Yvonne's Dance Academy exists to educate and inspire children in a loving, safe, and nurturing manner. Our structured environment teaches developmentally appropriate skills while simultaneously encouraging creative expression. Our YDA staff uses dance as a tool to build self-esteem and good character while cultivating an appreciation for the art that is dance... YDA strives to teach our students that dance is a way to create, explore, and celebrate, regardless of age, level or dance experience. We believe that ballet builds a solid, technical training base, thus it is a required class within our Academy. Uniquely, we offer an exclusive B.A.D Boys - (Boys Athetic Dance) class to meet this ballet requirement for our male dancers.
