Chris Fisher - CEO, Founder

Chris Fisher is the founder and Managing Partner of Xerox Ventures. In addition, as senior vice president and chief strategy officer of Xerox, Chris is a member of the executive committee for Xerox and leads the company's corporate strategy function and global mergers and acquisitions function. Chris has deep expertise in investing, M&A and leading strategy, corporate development, and operations at large multinationals. During his tenure at Xerox, Chris has managed and led transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion across print, IT services, industrial IoT, software and augmented reality. He also has led early stage and growth investments in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity and fintech, along with numerous strategic and partnership transactions. Prior to Xerox, Chris was an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP, a global law firm, where he advised private equity clients and global strategic clients on various transactions and governance. He began his legal career as an associate at Jenner & Block, focusing on early-stage investments, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and finance. Chris began his career in banking and was an assistant vice president at Bank of America with expertise in structured finance and global operations. Chris received his law degree and business law certificate from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, with a specialization in finance.

Daniel Sottosanti

Daniel is a Senior Associate with Xerox Ventures leveraging his experience across public markets, M&A, and strategy. He is focused on all stages of deal-making including sourcing and execution, thesis development, and the support of XV portfolio companies. He previously was a Senior Associate with the Corporate Strategy and M&A group, where his focus was evaluating and executing M&A transactions. Prior to Xerox, Daniel was a senior analyst with the Fuchs Schulman Group, an asset management firm in New York, where he oversaw the analysis of the firm's proprietary asset management program and institutional consulting business. Further, he served on the firm's investment committee, guiding the global asset allocation and research process, and advised institutional investment committee clients on investment policy, asset allocation and investment selection.  Daniel earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and minor in Economics from Ithaca College. Daniel is currently a Level II Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and previously held the Series 7 and 66 registrations.

Dean Mai - Chief Investment Officer

Dean is an Investment Director at Xerox Ventures. He leads investments along the fund's Software, IT, and Financial Services concentrations to catalyze rapidly evolving technologies in the fields of AI & ML, DevOps, digital manufacturing, security, and fintech/DeFi. Dean brings to Xerox more than a decade of international experience in business development, strategy, and venture capital. Previously, Dean managed global technology scouting, sourcing and diligence of strategic technology opportunities for Dyson Research & Development groups, focusing on investing in companies with a novel differentiated scientific understanding or touch engineering solutions in the fields of AI & ML, high-speed electric motors, turbomachinery and material science. Dean also served as a Director of Emerging Technologies at the Bressler Group, partnering with emerging technology startups and SMBs on product development, technology transfer and IP strategies. Prior to the Bressler Group, Dean served Deputy Commander of C.S.A.R Evacuation Branch of the Israeli Special Forces, where he trained and oversaw tactical combat teams in airborne search and rescue military and civilian operations, as well as holding the rank of Deputy Commander in the Israeli Air Force Special Operations Forces. Dean holds a Bachelor of Laws with a concentration in Intellectual Property and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Reichman University, and a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard.

Paul Holland - Managing Director

Paul, the Managing Director and VC-in-residence at Mach49, leads the Corporate Venture Investing Practice and works with global businesses to design, launch, and manage CVC Funds that leverage the experience, deal flow, global network, and success of his top-tier Silicon Valley VCs. Paul has been a General Partner at leading venture capital fund, Foundation Capital, for 18 years helping take startup companies from zero to $100M to IPO or acquisition. Prior to joining Foundation, he had an equally stellar operating career, joining Reed Hastings at Pure Software, and was later recruited by Benchmark Capital to join Mark Gainey at Kana Communications. In total, Paul helped generate over $13B in market capitalization during his operating career. He received his MBA from UC Berkeley, MA from University of Virginia, and BS from James Madison University.

Peter Harris

Peter is an Associate with Xerox Ventures. He was previously a Strategy Analyst with the Xerox Corporate Strategy and M&A group where he worked alongside Corporate Development and business unit leaders to help define how it will drive revenue in key growth markets such as Software, 3D Printing, Cleantech and Internet of Things. Prior to Xerox, Peter was a Senior Consultant with Fuld + Company, a competitive strategy consultancy based in Boston. With Fuld, Peter partnered with leading Fortune 500 companies across various industries to create market leading strategies that excel in the face of disruption. Peter earned his B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Finance and Business Law from Tulane University. He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, and Geneva, Switzerland, but now resides in New York City. Outside of work he enjoys travelling, playing golf or snowboarding, and watching the Yankees.

Timothy Chiang - Chief Investment Officer

Tim is an Investment Director at Xerox Ventures. He leads investments along the fund's Industry 4.0 and Cleantech concentrations, partnering with founders pioneering the future of Connectivity, Energy, Manufacturing and Sustainability. Tim has an extensive and diverse background in intellectual property, product development, federal acquisitions, and systems architecture, which informs his approach towards backing and building the companies that solve for the most meaningful and complex sociotechnical challenges of our time. Prior to Xerox, Tim was at GC Ventures, leading investments in advanced materials, additive manufacturing and energy storage startups. He started his venture career at GE Ventures. He's a member of the Chemical Angels Network, a nationwide angel investor group focused on areas of life sciences, materials and energy. He's also affiliated with Going VC Partners, a platform seeking to cultivate the next generation of venture investors. Tim holds a Masters Degree from the Sloane School of Business and the School of Engineering at MIT. He earned his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois.
